I don't agree with everything The Nuge has to say about many things, but I absolutely love him for his ability to elicit such huge amounts of pants sh*tting from you farkers.  Ted don't give a sh*t and I respect that.

Snark away....he's pretty much correct about this particular issue.  I'd prefer to hear the Florida governor say the same thing and tell the idiots to fark off, but pretty sure that won't happen, wut wit' politics and all.

Nugent added that celebrities might as well boycott Chicago while they're at it, arguing that residents there are "left out of their cages to commit more brutal murders and rape and carjackings and slaughter of innocence."

So, since he's so worried, he has organized a boycott of Chicago, right?

Seriously, they need to get over this "why focus on just one murder?" bullshiat. Dana Perino displayed the true extent of her short term memory loss by biatching that Obama made a speech about Trayvon Martin, but didn't say a speech for each and every person in the country who has been murdered.

It's like the entire Right wing is now sharing a single brain cell, and they have to schedule visiting hours...

He certainly hates drugs a lot for a draft dodger.

I thought all draft dodgers were supposed to be pot smoking left wing hippies?

Also he was a draft dodger, who dodged the draft.

What did he even do? Cat Scratch Fever? Stranglehold? Ok, you learned five songs and made a couple rock songs  in the 70s I'll admit it was probably better than Barry Manilow and Debbie Boone but get over yourself.

Nugent is a nutball, but the celebrities calling for a boycott over "stand your ground" are idiots for two reasons.  1. The Zimmerman case had nothing (zero, zip, nada) to do with stand your ground.  2. Roughly 30 states have stand your ground type laws on their books.

Gayest Band Ever.

Damn Yankees were the first band that made me realize that, as a songwriter, that you can take two riffs that have nothing in common and with a few tweaks can smash them together and make something larger....not better mind you.....just larger.

If you're looking for a painful but interesting experiment listen to their CD and just listen to the riffs and how they transition.  It's songwriting by dartboard committee pulled off of some poor sods four track full of ideas.

Honestly I hadn't heard anything THAT bad since La Roux or whoever did that "Bulletproof" tune.

OgreMagi: 1. The Zimmerman case had nothing (zero, zip, nada) to do with stand your ground.

They didn't implicitly invoke "stand your ground" but Zimmerman stalked a person and murdered him because he claimed he was scared for his life. And he got off. That's pretty much the spirit of the "stand your ground" law. One of the jurors is now coming out saying that he got away with murder but because of the law, there wasn't anything she could do.

"Stand Your Ground" was invoked at the get-go.  Any person in a non SYG state would have spent at least a few days locked up while things got sorted out.  IIRC he walked away that night and slept in his own bed.

Dude I learned that from listening to Slayer. Damn Yankees were a bunch of made up high heel wearing Nancys. Seriously for those unfamiliar with them they actually wore makeup during and many of the members wore high heels during the 80's I'm not just making a gay joke.

No.  The media invoked stand your ground from the get-go.  Zimmerman did not.

Ted, bubala, that's competition bowing out. You can finally get some of the sweet venues, as opposed to doing the side stage at Cricket Pavillion in Phoenix. OK, not real competition, but those folks bowing out, means that dates may open to give you a shot.

The juror said he got away with murder because of the lack of evidence.  Again, not one farking thing to do with stand your ground.

Yeah, Henry Rollins is a total straight edge type, but he doesn't go on and on about it, or even bash others for not being like him, as far as I've seen. Which makes me think it would be a lot of fun to see Ted Nugent and Henry Rollins fight.

That's ridiculous.  I have hardly ever been brutally murdered and raped when I'm in Chicago.  And I've never been carjacked.

you have to pay extra for that

what's funny to me is that if Ted Nugent got lost in NYC and found himself walking toward several black men just hanging out, he would run screaming in the opposite direction and they would say "Who the fark was that guy?"

that pleases me.
