I've had it. I can't imagine being confined to a boat and having it, let alone having paid for it.

funzyr: Benevolent Misanthrope: Unfortunately, the CDC inspection can't shut down the cruise. But they did spray chlorine over the unrefrigerated items to ensure that the crew couldn't serve that food to guests.

And I'm sure no one on board thought to cut the chlorinated parts off those cheeses and salamis and such and put them back on their now-fully-disinfected trolleys.

I have never understood why anyone goes on a cruise any more.  They're basically just floating petri dishes.

This pretty much sums up my feelings on the issue, also.

I've never seen the real difference between taking a cruise and being locked in a hotel with a bunch of strangers (with an occasional time-out to go spend money).
