While they may have something with this in the future that makes it interesting, right now I don't see any reason to get yet another device that plays Netflix and YouTube videos on my TV.  I can already watch a movie on my phone or laptop, pause it, fire up the TV and start watching right where I left off.

Somaticasual: Is this any different than the myriad of these same streaming TV USB devices that you see in dimly-lit corners of the "electronics" section of your local drug store?  You know, the ones that never seem to go down in stock, always with a $19.99 pricetag?

Honest Bender: smoky2010: So this would replace the cable between my laptop and my tv? I'll pass, I can get vga cables for free.

VGA? Ew. At least get something hi-def.

I don't have cable do I have an old toughbook hooked up to the tv. I didn't have hd before so it looks the same.

Hopefully in the next year this will stream a lot more great content. For $35 I'm willing to give this a shot as opposed to the $300 Nexus Q was priced at.
