This just sounds like a bad idea.  Do they NOT have any idea how congested that part of town is??   And they want to build it on top of a fault line.

I'm more bummed about the traffic this will cause.

How about you rebuild your transpo system you tore out awhile back first LA?

Although I think if this project goes through, I could see starting new business. Foot vendors with refreshments for the folks stuck in gridlock.

Apparently it invoices headlines that promise to link to news stories, but produce only blank pages in mobile browsers. So I'm thinking maybe it's better suited for The Farce Network.

Oh, yeah, SyFy. So, what subby said.

I don't get the complaints about being in scale. When the beloved captiol records building was built it was definitely out of scale. If they're going to build large buildigns they should really be closer to the red line subway station which I think is a bit of a hike from this location.

The City of Los Angeles is a whore for mega-developers.  It doesn't matter if people will be able to actually get to the buildings.

Yeah. Link is a blank page for me, too.

What, no love for Blade Runner pyramids?  Construction needs to begin soon if they want to have them built by 2019.

Because when I think of locations that need (FTFA)  "jobs and new tax revenue for the city,"  I think of Hollywood.

And the sub-basements will be so far down they'll tap into lava beds, but they're really the Gates To HELL.  This movie is writing itself, get Roger Corman on the phone!
