I still don't like W, but I have always liked the old man, even when I disagreed with him.

That's pretty cool.

White people don't look good with shaved heads, especially en masse.

My Dad met him in the Midland days. Said he was as genuine and honest a man as he had met...high praise  in the West Texas oilfield.

This bald chick - what's with her head? Let's start with the chick. What gives, cue ball? I'm looking at you, I'm thinking: fourteen in the side pocket!

All I could think of

You may not like their politics, but the Bush family are generally good people and down right likable. Yes, even W.
I've gotten to meet both of them.
Met Clinton too, and liked him.

Politicians tend to be rather personable people. It's kind of a requirement to get hired for the job. I hear Obama's pretty fun to hang out with too.

About the only President in recent history who, by all accounts, wasn't really "likeable" in person in that sense was Richard Nixon, and you see how that turned out.

I love a shaved Bush.

41 is a good dude. Last president to have served in WWII. Shot down over the Pacific in a torpedo bomber. Shame his kids turned out the way they did.

I never liked his politics, but I always thought GHWB was a decent man.

George Senior could have been one of the greatest Presidents, especially after the Success of Gulf War 1. But he totally fumbled the domestic economy agenda. The main reason why I thought Clinton deserved a chance to govern. Sad to see the old man is in a wheelchair now. Hope he's healthy otherwise.

Being part of the Secret Service, you'd think they have better medical plans. Even if it's just to keep the guys from taking second jobs moonlighting as cops.

I can't say I've always liked him, but I never disliked him. As usual, I liked him better as an ex-President. He seemed like an okay person, but yeah, I disagreed with him on many policy related postions.

W on the other hand ...

Everything I've ever seen or read about W is that one on one he is a heck of a guy and speaks well, just not a good public speaker.

I'd imagine Clinton is fun to be around.  I don't see it with Obama unless he really likes you or needs something from you.  I could be wrong and some of that could be the feeling I get from his Wife.

Reagan for Stories and Nixon when listening to him talk about foreign affairs.

Carter I think would be boring and not overly friendly unless the camera is on and Ford never got a bead on him.

2013-07-24 11:00:51 PM
While I disagree with the politics of both Bush junior and senior and made that known during both of their administrations (although during Bush senior I was a bit more immature about it as I was a teenager), upon his departure from office Bush senior has been a class act, and continues to be so.

2013-07-24 11:02:01 PM
Never cared for 41's politics. His wife, Barbara, however, I would have voted for in a heartbeat.
