She looks gushy.  In a good way.

"Did you work with an elite team of masturbators?"

I don't recall seeing a casting notice on Fark, so i'll presume not

I'd masturbate her with my penis if you know what I mean.

And I think you do.

It's embarrassing how many times Andy has to save Conan by saying something funny only to have Conan parrot him afterwards.

Oh, what a nice human. Can she visit me and be my friend?

"When Aubrey Plaza started at Parks and Recreation, she was a pretty regular-looking woman with a deadpan delivery."

Regular looking? To each their own I guess, I think she's pretty damn fine.

There appears to be a certain angular aspect around her medial collateral ligaments.

"So now what do I do?"
"Masturbate, like it says so in the script."

Well, it wasn't in my immediate vicinity, so kinda disappointed.

i don't see any appeal to her character on P&R. i can't imagine associating with anyone that whiny, negative, and self-absorbed in real life, so i find her scenes off-putting. her husband's character seems borderline retarded as well. i'm not sure what these two add to an otherwise mildly endearing sitcom.

nice looking actress though.

You'd fix her cable?

The genius of the April character is that she is basically the next generation Ron Swanson, as far as her attitude towards other people goes.

But given the overall tone and content of your post, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of P&R that's not really registering with you.

easy there or i'll have to post the pic of the kids playing chess ...

As far as I can tell the Swanson character is that of a man with lots of skills that contribute to his independence, which in turn explains why he hates his job. That's pretty amusing. Other than whining about hating her job, what skills does the April character possess that would make your comparison apt?

You better hope the FBI isn't going through Fark posts, or Agent Bert Maclin is going to hunt you down.

As far as characters goes, he's borderline retarded, but looks for the bright side in everything, while she has a cynical front but isn't much different than him on the inside.  So as a couple they mostly have fun and mock everything else that's too serious.  You may not enjoy them for the superficial qualities of the characters they represent, but in a sitcom I find them to be refreshingly different than how most couple are portrayed and enjoy the fact that they didn't make them do the break up/get together/break up bullshiat that most sitcom couples do

Yah I thought it was an odd comment.  Perhaps she isn't what you picture when you think of a glamazon movie star, but she's very attractive and in no way an average jane.

/Of course I'm sure the average farker sees hundreds of better looking girls every day on their way to work as is always noted whenever anyone says any woman is attractive on this site.

He's referring to Swanson's attitude about working in government, general tone towards others, and what appears from the outside as a very self centered nature.

When in reality, he does a lot for many people without them typically noticing. April is the same way. In later seasons especially she comes into her own, showing great empathy for animals, and befriending the rest of the cast in unusual ways. She's far from self-absorbed on the show, she just plays it up because she doesn't want people thinking she cares... Just like Ron.

As he said, there seems to be a lot about P&R that doesn't register with you. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I have a friend who thinks P&R is the worst show ever for being pro-government (it's really not). Some things just aren't for some people. But your analysis of the characters is a tad off. Did you make it past season 1? Because what you described is kind of Season 1 April.

The funny part is. He's basically Ron Swanson. Self possessed, skilled, libertarian, and tries to be as self reliant as possible.

Yet he doesn't understand the show, or the character that is Ron Swanson. I give him endless shiat for this.

There's more than one way of saying 'fark me'.
There's 'fark me please, I want you to' and there's 'fark me now or I will transform into a lizard and destroy you'.
I wasn't sure which he meant.
