Luckily it will depict Jane Austen as portrayed by Anne Hathaway in the 2007 film Becoming Jane.

All British currency already has one pointless bint portrayed upon it, this move will only encourage more of them into thinking they are in some way useful for anything other than dancing like donkeys in a tornado.
I like women, but only when they are dancing like donkeys in a tornado. Or sexing my scrote-rod.

We also had both Darwin and the King James Bible on our coins. Thats how you troll.

/If we ever join the Euro the last issue of pound notes should have Nelson, Wellington, Drake and Montgommery on them

Author Jane Austen is to feature on the next £10 note, the Bank of England says, avoiding a long-term absence of women represented on banknotes.

How many Chavs even know who Jane Austin is?  Surprised they didn't go with J.K. Rowling or Helen Mirren

So, Queen Elizabeth is a tranny? Or does her royal status somehow negate her status as a female? Nothing wrong with changing out faces on banknotes to honor different people but to do for gender equality while pretending the queen isn't a female is a bit odd. Jane Austen is a huge literary figure and that should be enough to have her on banknotes. Doing it because she was a female rather than a widely read author is a bit insulting to her legacy.

Chavs wouldn't know who they are either. They don't read and the only TV shows they watch are reality shows like Big Brother.

I recall The Sun showing that if you used the bottom half of the Queen's face and the top half of the old dude on the reverse of the twenty pound note, it looked like John McEnroe.

Shame they apparently have only room for one non-Queen woman on their money; Ada Lovelace would make a fine addition.

/Jane Austin is also quite worthy.

You can't use the same sex and gender terms for the Lizard People.
