So what's goofier, Sandra and George as astronauts or Denise Richards as a nuclear weapons specialist?

2013-07-24 02:03:29 PM
I'll see this movie on Day One.

Children of Men is pretty much my pick for best science-fiction movie of the last decade.

2013-07-24 02:11:35 PM
Denise Richards is less plausible, hands down. Sandra Bullock is actually a fairly intelligent woman.

Honestly, I'm surprised that you'd even ask.

I'd rather see Sandra Bullock breathing heavily while naked and on top of me.

Some 'Splainin' To Do: Denise Richards is less plausible, hands down. Sandra Bullock is actually a fairly intelligent woman.

Yeah but all her characters are silly, clumsy girls who lose their shiat in the presence of a hunky guy. I guess that doesn't preclude being an astronaut but are there astronauts in their 50s?

I will see this in IMAX because it will be awesome. Now shut up and take my money!

You know, I never knew I wanted it until I saw it. How I can't think of life without it.

2013-07-24 03:05:59 PM
I'd ink her more ass or something.

2013-07-24 03:10:56 PM
I was hoping for more ass.

Dude, I nearly posted the same thing in a the Gravity thread.

This is a joke right?

So, what's the story behind the blatant emotional trolling in the trailer?  Astronaut girl freaks out in space?

2013-07-24 03:52:09 PM
Space Shuttle? What in the hell is a Space Shuttle?

2013-07-24 03:53:27 PM
Everyone gets to die. Not everyone gets to die floating in space.

I'd prefer another method of making her breathe hard.

I totally want to see this movie. I live disaster movies, especially old school ones like"the towering inferno"
The wife may go because of Sandra, if not I'll download it

I found the link at the bottom of the page titled. "Aubrey Plaza Hilariously Details Her Masturbation Scene From 'The To-Do List" to be much more interesting, but that's just me.

2013-07-24 03:58:24 PM
Are they gonna green-light every trailer for this movie? Because there's another one twelve links down.

2013-07-24 03:59:37 PM
Okay I need to stop watching these. Both gave me goosebumps.

Infernalist: So, what's the story behind the blatant emotional trolling in the trailer?  Astronaut girl freaks out in space?

Does it matter that it is a female astronaut?  I think any astronaut would be shiatting bricks in a scenario like that.  I don't think any amount of training could keep someone, male or female, from basically soiling their spacesuit in such a situation.  You are tethered to a piece of machinery in space and you almost get hit by debris traveling at supersonic speeds.  You escape that nightmare only to begin tumbling on the arm of what amounts to a giant crane in zero gravity only to cut loose and start drifting out into the solar system.

I think some freaking out is in order.

I'm vaguely hoping there's a plot in there somewhere, or is it 90 minutes of emotional trolling?

I think this film would have a wider appeal if the female lead was played by AnnaSophia Robb or Ariel Winter.

Might pass on this movie.

I'm white but my woman is half japanese, and I've always loved japanese culture.  fark this movie, it's an insult.  It's difficult for me to think of any story anywhere else that so completely encapsulates the identity of a nation and the people living in it, at least as of a generation or two ago.

Aren't George Clooney and Sandra Bullock a little old to be playing astronauts?

She is very intelligent, speaks multiple languages as does her younger sister who is also quite intelligent.

FTFY.  I think, maybe.  I didn't notice a Rim thread.

Yep. Huge. I, for one, want nothing to do with it. I wouldn't squeeze it. I wouldn't massage it. I wouldn't slowly rub it with scented oils after spanking it to a medium red hue.

Nope. Terrible.

I'm sure when reading what I wrote, it comes across as ridicule from my wife...can't convey tone without writing it out.  My wife was taken aback...by dat ass.  She was genuinely impressed how she was working that white mom skirt in the scene when Big Mike is learning to block.
