I'd rather have Weiner, a person who accepts human sexuality, representing me than Cucinelli, a repressed asshole with no understanding of sexuality or the relationship between the Federal constitution and state laws.

cbathrob: I wonder what's it's like to be born without a sense of shame.

I was born with a sense of shame, but I abused it do death.  Now I just don't give a shiat.

Shtetl G: The guy only needed to do one thing and he was pretty much a shoo in to be the next mayor. All he had to do was not send pictures of his junk to coeds. Even that was too much for him. Poor impulse control in a nutshell,

These pix aren't new, just newly released. IIRC, the guy fessed up the first time around that other photos did exist and could surface in the future. yawn

reaperducer: It's called "character." You should look it up.
If someone can blow off their marriage vows -- the most important promise they will EVER make -- then what hope do we have of them keeping their word as a politician?
Really? Do we have to connect these dots for you? Are you that out of touch with reality?

Well bless your charming little heart.
As I mentioned already, marital infidelity among otherwise highly effective, successful, brilliant, or moral individuals is historically not at all uncommon. I think it reflects poorly on someone's personal character, but it just isn't, on its own, very convincing evidence that someone is also horrible at judgment and circumspection in all other elements of their life.
Oaths of office are also more important than marriage vows, on a public scale. Breaking the former has the potential to do more harm to far more people.

Probably pretty awesome, I'd guess.

Yeah, but you end up doing stuff like texting your junk then running for office.  Shame serves a purpose, even if it's no fun.

Seriously, though, I hope he wins, for the comedic value if nothing else.  It'd give a whole new meaning to "going to meet Mayor Weiner."

Weiner has to be insane to be exposing himself (no pun intended) to such public ridicule after the first time. At least a dude who cheats on his wife can keep that on the down low. Why the Christ would you leave a trail if you're a public figure with this texting crap?

It's a concern of judgment, ultimately. If I throw a rock at a bee's nest, get swarmed and hospitalized, get out and do it again, you'd have to assume I'm either suicidal or retarded.

That's basically how I look at it.  Except, I'd consider you a half wit for throwing the rock, as a presumably well educated adult, the first time.  Second time is just moron icing on the idiot cake.  But my standards may be unjustifiably high for my preferences in candidates for public office.

TheOtherMisterP: Flowcharts have graphical rules. This one violates many of them.

It is impossible to follow the bottom of the chart. You basically need to go backwards through some of the links to get to certain spots.

Bad Bad Design.

Yeah, that's the worst flowchart I've ever seen.

Weiner's dick pics are more like electronic flashing than marital infidelity. He should be wearing a trench coat in his photos.
