When it comes to immigration reform, 44 percent of adults say they would blame Republicans if Congress doesn't pass legislation by the end of its current term.
21 percent of respondents  would blame the president, and 14 percent would blame congressional Democrats.

1 in 5 people will blame the President for not passing legislation.

"The poll also shows that the president's overall job-approval rating stands at 45 percent, a 3-point drop from last month, although it's within the poll's margin of error."

Last month's poll did not have a margin of error?  The 48 number from last month was an absolute number?
WTF is he comparing it to?

NBC news isn't even trying anymore to appear unbiased.

Since margins of error work both ways, they could have overestimated Obama's support in the last poll, and underestimated it in the current one. So it's possible presidential support went up, not down.

lohphat: stuhayes2010: If 83% of Americans disapprove of congress, how come we don't see 83% of congress not being reflected?

Because the electorate is a bunch of selfish ignorant rubes. They hate congress....except for their guy.

THIS.

I am from Ky and go insane when I hear people biatch and whine about congress yet stick McConnell's unsavory arse back in office year after year.  The man stated he was a US senator not a KY senator, still not fired because of the jersy he wears.  I hate everyone who votes partisan and stops thinking for themselves.

The 83% disapproval is Congress. Why blame Obama for Congress' failure.

/What is the possessive form of Congress?
