If reality shows are destroying America and Europe invented reality shows, does that mean we can bomb Europe?

WTF Indeed: If reality shows are destroying America and Europe invented reality shows, does that mean we can bomb Europe?

I can't say for sure, but I don't see any harm in it.  Why not?

I thought it used to be that if you were involved with organized crime, keeping a low profile was part of the job description.
Nowadays, it seems like they all want their own television show.
Being a criminal has jumped the shark.

Thanks to "Good Will Hunting", "Mystic River", "The Departed", and "The Town", the image of Boston has changed from "home of snooty ivory-tower intellectuals" to "crime-ridden shiathole" - damn you, Damon and Affleck!

A convicted felon whose name has repeatedly been mentioned as an accomplice to murder in the trial of James "Whitey" Bulger will be featured in a reality TV show on the Discovery Channel, outraging the family of at least one of Bulger's alleged victims.

Meh, people got their panties in a twist over The Departed, too. Mostly because "people" are too stupid to understand what "glamorizing" actually means. Bulger's character was not "glamorized" in any way in that film.

So what's the reality show about?

The show that will feature Nee, called "Saint Hoods," is a dramatization of bookies in Boston, according to the channel.

OK, at least that makes it a little more plausible, they seem to be making the show based on his criminal behavior.

So what did he do, anyway?

On Friday, the family of Michael Donahue, allegedly gunned down by Bulger, learned that an unidentified man involved in Donahue's death may have been Patrick Nee of South Boston, according to testimony from Stephen "The Rifleman" Flemmi.

OK, now I'm back in the 'You need to calm the fark down' camp. This isn't a reality show about murder, and the guy is still in the "Might be him" category. Go back in the house, and quit searching out the news crews.

Nah, it's just that there are two famous James Bulgers. One's a criminal and the other is a murdered toddler.
