proteus_b: The All-Powerful Atheismo: If you're only drinking one a day... the difference between 2500 and 2642 is not going to make one bit of difference. I would say it barely makes a difference even for a 2000 calorie diet if you're active.

It actually makes a difference. That difference is even quantifiable. It's 142 calories. If you add 142 calories to your daily diet, you will likely gain approximately a kilogram of fat in a month. Give or take.

No, it's not that simple, buddy.  With an active metabolism, your body will burn it off.

Also you are terrible at math.  Using the misleading concept that calories will translate directly into weight, 142 calories a day equates to about 4200 a month.  That's about 1.2 pounds, NOT a kilogram.

And as said already, if your metabolism is active your body will regulate your weight and you will NOT just gain a pound.

RottNDude: "The new drink has 108 calories in a 600 millilitre bottle - between classic Coke with 250 calories and the zero-calorie Diet Coke. "

If you have to budget 142 calories into your day, you fail at life.

Assuming one can a day for an entire year is 51,830 calories or 14.88 lbs of fat.  Yeah, that's failing at life all right.
