I got the pic from a nurse friend in the hospital. Don't share this with anyone, I don't want her to get in trouble....

Calling a new human life a "crotch dropping" definitely says more about the submitter than it does about the child.

So...

Am I the only one who was sort of hoping that the royal tot would be a dwarf, and that they'd name him Tyrion?

Mambo Bananapatch: Bet it has flippers.

Close.  It doesn't exist yet.  Seen the pictures of Kate?  Yeah, not pregnant.

Rumor is the surrogate isn't due until September.  So they'll be juggling others' babies until then.

Cheerio!

Or, you know, 4 minutes ago on TV. I can't believe Kate came out with him. And they still haven't picked a name? Seriously?

Is it me or does the prince look like a down syndrome version of Drew?

Yes, that's exactly what I tell every Family Guy fan the minute they make their inevitable reference to the show.

Ass ahoy!

Looks like an ugly and wrinkly standard newborn to me. I think all newborns are nasty looking little things.

Funny to me they look helpless and need warmth, compassion, love and nourishment to survive

So, basically, the kid is a cross between Count Dracula and Mayer Amschel Rothschild

Which means they are weak, and should be culled.

One day after giving birth and Kate is gorgeous.

/still a little belly, but that won't take long with 8 personal trainers or whatever they have
//props to dad for driving them home rather than a chauffeur

I personally think that his little royal highness, or duke of whatever-appears quite sweet, but I'm a woman, albeit not one fond of newborns but for this one, I'll make an exception.  The pics made me feel all gooey and mommy'ish inside for whatever reason.

How long has it been since Britain celebrated the birth of an heir to the throne?  30 some odd years?  Big deal to them and could potentially have a global impact. I wish mom and dad the very best and am actually excited to hear the name of the child.  I can see why most of the Empire will be having cookouts this weekend, here in the good ole US, we'll just be counting off the calendar days until Labor Day. That's our next big major event.

And no, no one famous here is having a baby on Labor Day, unless it's one of the Kardashian sisters.  Which I highly doubt.

How so? The British royals don't do politics. Their existence is almost entirely ornamental.

Yes, but the world still needs to accessorize, right?  Or are you saying that we shouldn't have nice things?

j/k
