This does sound like something the US wanted in exchange for 1) continuing peace talks between Israel and Palestine 2) Preparing to do something about Syria, which the EU is using as a proxy war against Russia.

HOW TO TELL IF YOUR ORGANIZATION IS A GROUP OF TERRORISTS OR A POLITICAL PARTY
Grant one point for each YES answer.
1. Has your organization ever blown anything up?
IF YES Were people hurt, property damaged, or people killed?
IF YES Was it your intent to damage property or hurt people?
IF YES Was it your intent that this harm intimidate people such that they would not continue to oppose your goals?
2. Does your organization advocate the overthrow of any democratically elected secular government by force or violence?
3. Is there a headgear (scarf, hat, yarmulke) requirement for members of your group?
4. Would a prospective member to your organization be singled out, yelled at, or denied membership because they refused to wear a piece of recommended headgear of any kind other than safety glasses or helmets?

0-1 points: Your group may not be a terrorist organization. It still probably is, though.
2-3 points: Your group is or was a terrorist organization and will remain on the watch lists for a long time.
3-4 points: Drone incoming, please stand by, your test results will arrive shortly.
5+ points: Just kidding, everyone with a 5 point or higher score is already dead.

I think it can also mean spastic, unpredictable, unreliable, followed by Limbs, which means hands, arms, legs, appendages, tentacles, or graspers.
So, if I had spastic, unreliable arms and legs, my name would be appropriate.

1 - yes to all counts
2 - sometimes; in Chile and Iran, for instance.
3 - generally only for protection, but also in ceremonial occasions
4 - yelled at, yes; probably not denied membership

Looks like the U.S. needs to be put on the terrorist list.

Governments don't count, just factions. Palestine isn't on the terrorist list. Just by and large its political groups.

We have a different designation for governments: rogue states

In other news, Israel is pissed at the EU for pretending the military wing of Hamas is a completely different organization from the political wing.

/and the EU is pissed that reality continues to treat their faith in "the Golden Mean" as the fallacy it is

On the one hand, we have "aggressive and imbalanced" news articles.
On the other hand, we have suicide bombers, female oppressors, and JIHAD! encouraged by the "peace and Love" wing of spiritual leaders.
Two wings, one turkey.

Hhmm, so difficult,,,

I like to take examples of terrorism and play cute with the vocabulary and say the US government does the same things. Makes me feel like I know just a little bit more than most, which is how I feel special.

They are a terrorist group and should be treated as such.

If the Palestinians ever want real peace then they need to tell Hezbollah, Iran and the other groups who "support" their cause to stop "supporting" it with real bullets.

/support Israel
