Pants full of macaroni!!: Holy mother of cats.  Someone actually spelled "Dalmatian" correctly.

Is that a common problem? I wasn't aware that it was hard to spell.

About 8 times out of 10 I see it spelled "Dalmation" - i.e. the apparent act of dalmating.

How did they know it was a service dog, and what was it doing in the apartment by itself?

Sure, I realize sometimes people go elsewhere without their assistance dogs, but this doesn't sound right, especially if the owner hasn't stepped up yet or if they can't use lease records to find out the NAME of the owner, at least.

Nice-looking dog, though. Hope it gets back to whomever he belongs.

Probably the person was dragged out first.  Rescue workers generally put humans at risk over animals at risk.

The commercial was longer than the story.
I'll make it a point to not buy whatever it was that they were selling.
