Considering he was casting out a magnet, one strong enough to lift out a bazooka, I'd say that he got exactly what he wanted.

Man, last time I went tourist fishing,  all I caught were a bunch of Japanese guys with cameras.

He may have been trying to catch a pink shark that was moving constantly in a wide circle

Tourist?  Probably a member of the Resistance who was able to talk himself out of a sticky situation.

Was he using a magnet because he was trying to get a Dutch Oven?

If you're going looking for anti-tank weapons, the best bait would probably be tanks.

How you put them on a hook, I have no idea.

Fish tanks aren't that dangerous.

Glad I re-read that.  The mental imagery associated with Germans fisting Dutch tourists was.. not good.

What kind of bait?

I'm going to guess it was something French

It's pretty common to refer to any sort of hand held anti tank weapon as a Bazooka.  A Bazooka is a musical instrument if you want to be technical.

thats kinda dumb tho.

its like saying bolt action rifles are the same thing as assault weapons since they both are used against infantrymen.

'sides, a bazooka is US. The German copy of it (which they ripped off from us and made bigger and more effective) was known as the "Panzerschreck". The Panzerfaust was more like a use once RPG than a bazooka or panzerschreck, which could be reused.

theeeen the soviets copied the best attributes of both with the RPG (which really is a very nice weapon).

If you say 'bazooka', pretty much everyone has a good idea what you're talking about. If you say 'panzerfaust', people who know what panzerfausts know what you're talking about. For the purposes of TFA, bazooka is fine. Being pedantic about it doesn't get you anywhere.

i'm not being pedantic, i'm just pointing out that there's a subtle slight difference. :)

Sorry, that was more of a general statement not directed toward you specifically. They are both shoulder-fired rocket anti-tank weapons. For most people reading TFA, that means 'bazooka' (or RPG if it's modern).

It's kinda like the clip vs mag argument you see pop up in every gun related thread. Unless you're talking about a specific situation where the wrong one is going to be a problem, using them interchangeably isn't a big deal, and pedantry just annoys people.

/Though if your goal is to annoy people, by all means continue, I guess.

theres a huge difference. the panzerfaust is capable of defeating any tank on the battlefied. the bazooka has trouble defeating medium tanks.
