BlackMtnMan: YourOwnMedicine: If your wife is crying you shouldn't be laughing.

yup

Sometimes it's warranted.  We were sitting on the porch last year and saw a baby bunny hopping out to eat something in the yard. One of the barn cats came out of nowhere and chased it with the clear intent of ending the bunny.  After a 5 second chase, a hawk swooped in and stole the bunny from the cat.  It happened very fast, but the cat was royally pissed off, the bunny was toast, and there wasn't anything but feathers and fur on the ground and a hawk that was probably a mile away in under a minute.  The cat planted himself in the yard where the bunny was with a "WTF just happened?" face and didn't move for ten minutes.

My wife burst into tears after the hawk picked up the bunny, but I found the entire situation hilarious.  I was hugging her and trying to calm her down, but I was laughing the entire time.  I only regret I don't have security cameras because it was farking awesome to watch.  Nature at its finest.

devilEther: Theaetetus: ReapTheChaos: I guess the guy in that video thinks because he's all calm and she's having a breakdown it proves she's the nut case, but what I see is a master manipulator who's honed his craft of emotional abuse to a science.

Yep. There are several instances where it seems like he's gaslighting her.

wow. I was focused on her, but you guys are right, he exhibits a different kind of sickness. what a disturbing scene.

Wow...I actually got nervous watching the video. While the woman seems to have some serious
issues, the guy was clearly pushing her buttons to get the most explosive reactions possible out
of her.

My first husband was a manipulator like that. Except he didn't do it to send me into rages. He did it to
"keep me in line". Kept me away from my friends, had me afraid that if I stepped wrong he'd vanish
with my infant son, even had me thinking I was going insane.

There should be a special place in hell for narcissistic manipulative people like that.

ph0rk: Accent + vehicle interlock makes it sound like NC, VA, or GA. I'm leaning GA with her accent, but It could be any of the above.

Doesn't really sound like a VA accent.  It's a little too twangy.  True VA accents are a softer kind of accent, but it's almost incomprehensible if you meet an old timer.

You know a VA accent because "house" sounds like "huss".

He's probably an asshole, but if she's throwing a tantrum like that and complaining about the interlock on her car, she's not exactly a winner.

She may also be a master manipulator, where she's perfectly normal around other people and complaining about what an asshole he is, so he was videotaping proof that she's got a case of the nuts.

What I do know is that if you are at a point in your relationship where you are videotaping a fight "so other people understand" - it's time for a break.

she screams like she does.

ph0rk: See, if he thought to record it, I can only assume she employs these tactics regularly.

While laughing at her probably wasn't the best response, she was screaming and kicking the damn roof of the truck for crying out loud - I'm not even sure how to react to that once, much less regularly.

I respect crazy more than I do mean, tbh.

I was more on his side until learning that he left her that day.  Seems to me that he knew he was leaving and this was designed to get a reaction and he got a great reaction then expected. She might be a spoiled little princess but no reason to humiliate her in front of the entire world and kudos to youtube for yanking it down.

His actions pretty much sum up his views on the partner in his marriage. Neither one of these folks deserve any "fame" from this video

I feel he had had enough.  He posted the video to dispel the thought that he was solely the asshole.

2013-07-22 08:14:19 PM
I wonder if she has a history of trying to change his plans on a whim to suit her instead. I can see that being a reason why he would not be willing to put off his errands for the day. I don't blame him for laughing throughout it. Her behavior is so absurd that how can you not laugh as it's happening in the seat next to you?

I wouldn't be surprised if he's douchey, but given her behavior I don't blame him for not giving in to her tantrum. She's a big 'ol bag full of crazy. Who apparently has a breathalyzer interlock on her car and is so irresponsible that she can't be arsed to know what the thing is even called. "'Cause of the interlock thing..." She's apparently so childish that her first action after getting the point that she isn't going to get her way is to whine to other people that he's not giving her what she wants. She didn't dispute that.

No amount of sex is worth putting up with her shiat.

2013-07-22 08:14:32 PM

devilEther: This can't be real. I got the sense she was trying not to laugh when she was "crying". I refuse to believe this wasn't staged. I refuse to believe anyone her age acts like this.

They do. My ex-wife behaved this way well into her 30s, which has something to do with our no longer being married.

In much of America, "the lake" is some godforsaken reservoir filled with drunk hicks zooming about on jet skis and pissing into their water supply.  I've been to "the lake", or as she pronounces it, "the luh-ache".

This could hurt him in the end, most women it seems by nature record/write/save stupid things their husbands do, who knows what she has on him.

Did he suggest or pour her drink before they got in the car, i'm sure she texted her friends earlier in the week that he was taking to the lake.

of course she could just be an idiot and he walks away with everything

"A lie can spread halfway around the world before the truth has time to get its pants on."

This was either said by Churchill or Twain depending on which site you visit, but my experience is that this is doubly true when it comes to court and court filings.

The "defendant" seems to hold enormous advantages in credibility compared to the plaintiff just by the nature of filing first. (Being a woman with a pussy pass also helps greatly.)

So uploading it may foreclose one set of lies to be told in court or at least stave them off a bit.

I think you're unfamiliar with Georgia.  In Georgia, the lakes responsible for over half the populations drinking water are Lake Lanier (Atlanta) and Lake Allatoona (NW suburban Atlanta) - both reservoirs.  Both of these are commonly referred to as "the lake" based on one's proximity.  If one is referring to another man-made reservoir (of which there are more than 30) the lake is referred to by its full name.

http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/nge/Table.jsp?id=l-4

Natural lakes extremely rare South of the receding point of Wisconsin glaciation in the Eastern half of the US.

This easily could be Lanier, but I don't know anyone in Atlanta with that horrendous an accent.

It's *his* truck with the interlock. That's why he needs to take it in for maintenance on the weekend.

While she may have a drinking problem, it doesn't make sense that her drinking problem is the reason for the interlock on his car.

These two people are terrible human beings.

How do you know its his car, that was never stated in that manner in the video.  The woman's behavior clearly shows a lack of critical thinking leading to easy assumption that it was her fault for the dui causing the interlock on the vehicle she uses.

Even if the car is in his name, its still the car SHE uses and therefore is responsible for its care.  If she refuses to take care of the oil due to the interlock then thats her choice which falls into the character profile this video exposes.

The vehicle they were driving was not the one with the interlock.

I probably should specify that I'm referring to the Appalachians.  Once you get down to the fringes of Florida, lakes start appearing again.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed several lakes in Georgia like Rabun, Blue Ridge, and Hartwell, but Lanier can just suck it.  I think it's a great place if you're looking to get killed by an alcoholic.

And what we're gonna end up is with people being in jail because they filmed a government sponsored assassination with ninjas and shiat, "accidentally".

Please enlighten me as to why its not her fault for having an interlock device on the vehicle she drives.

Please enlighten me as to why its his responsibility to handle her mistakes.

BTW when you want to jump to conclusions about why people might have a certain handle you might just be way off the mark.

not funny. this woman either has mental health issues or she's been locked in the house for a week or two with a bunch of maniacal young children. i knew a young adult woman who behaved this way. she now has four children (from four different fathers) and they are bi-polar medicated train wrecks.
