Frisco? Really?

Why all the Packers stock hate as of late? Or, have these all been submitted by one bitter Vikes fan certain that Christian Ponder's gonna be able to hand the ball off to Gregg Jennings for big yards this season?

Damn, you Green Bay haters are getting more and more desperate.

Keep at it. I'm sure you'll accidentally get to relevant or amusing at some point.

Who cares. What about all time sales?

Who owned a Kaepernick jersey before last year? No one. How many Aaron Rodgers Jerseys have been sold to date? I'm guessing a lot.

2013-07-22 10:07:06 AM
Meanwhile, wearing another man's jersey....still gay.

2013-07-22 10:07:18 AM
San Francisco should change their name to San Francisco Bay, then Green Bay, Tampa Bay and San Francisco Bay should play a 3-way Super Bay Bowl and Justin Bieber should do the have time show and sing "Bay-Bay Bay-Bay Bay-Bay".

I'd watch it.

The Smails Kid: Charlie Freak: Frisco? Really?

Frisco is a small city in TX subby.

/ And "Cali" is a city in Columbia and anyone who uses that ugly, lazy word should be ashamed of themselves!

2013-07-22 10:37:35 AM

EyeballKid: Why all the Packers stock hate as of late?

Because we're all tired of hearing about it. Not just Vikings fans. We farking get it already and we don't care.

The Muthaship: Meanwhile, wearing another man's jersey....still gay.

Do you have a problem with gay people?

Dwangerous: Frisco is a small city in TX subby.

It's not really that small any more, but that's just nitpicking. Do San Franciscans really hate the nickname "Frisco?" I just wonder why people keep using it if it's reviled so much.

When did Kaepernick get sent back down to Triple-A?

Di Atribe: Oh. I guess that I don't understand why you would attempt to insult someone by calling them gay if you didn't have a problem with gay people.

I was thinking more in line with a recognized separate connotation:

WIKI- Among younger speakers, gay has a derisive meaning equivalent torubbish or  stupid (as in "That's so gay."). In this use, the word does not mean "homosexual", so it can be used, for example, to refer to an inanimate object or abstract concept of which one disapproves. This usage can also refer to weakness or unmanliness.

No offense intended.  But, that word in that context just sort of captures the picture in my mind of a big crowd of fat assholes wearing their favorite adult practitioner of a child's game's jersey.

/and paying through the nose for the privilege

Yeah. I know the separate connotation. It's rude. And not in a funny way at all. It's not clever or unexpected. It's just a shiatty thing to say. Find another derisive word to express your disapproval of what other people wear.

The Muthaship: No offense intended. But, that word in that context just sort of captures the picture in my mind of a big crowd of fat assholes wearing their favorite adult practitioner of a child's game's jersey.

Hm. Good point. I never call it that because I live near Frisco, TX so there's no point in calling San Francisco that because then you just end up spending more time clarifying than actually just talking about what you meant to talk about in the first place. But. It's nice to know. Thanks.

No, no. It's okay when I use it, because I don't actually mean gay people. I'm using the term in a derisive way to be ironic.

Glad to see the Political tab idiots branching out and posting in Sports as well.

Everyone and his brother lives in Frisco, TX, and more and more people move here every day.  There's not enough houses to meet the demand of everyone who wants to move here.  Houses for sale stay on the market an average of nineteen seconds.

Traffic here is godawful.

Both Little Elm & Frisco were all about building tons of huge subdivisions and it never seemed to occur to them to upgrade the infrastructure (or staff to handle additional demand). Ravenous beasts, the both of them!

And boy, do people get all pissy when you point that last part out.

Especially Stillers fans. What I love doing is going, "Oh, from a certain date forward only? Well, then the Ravens kicked your ass since they have more Lombardi trophies than you in the last calendar year, obviously they are superior."

Stand back and watch the heads asplode, Funny!

People aren't allowed to dress differently and have a good time anymore for events?

I bet you're REAL fun to hang out with. Especially on Halloween (costume), St. Patrick's Day (green stuff), Christmas (ugly sweaters) or the 4th of July (Red, white and blue stuff), Kentucky Derby (hats and dress) .... the list goes on and on.

I left my home in Georgia
Headed for the Frisco Bay
Cuz I've had nothing to live for
And look like nothing's gonna come my way

It is okay for Ottis Redding.
