What the hell is powering that thing? It don't see a tether, which probably means it has an effective run time of 20 minutes.

/undeniably cool though

From what I've read, it's mainly muscle powered.

Not impressed.

I, on the other hand, am very impressed.  It only took 24 days to build that?  Nice work.

Don't write off the press just yet. The print media is apparently not planning on going down without a fight.

A giant robot fight.

May I suggest a slogan? Better read, than dead.

This was how Ripley's power loader worked for the long camera shots. There was a big dude wearing the suit under Sigourney Weaver, although I think because of its ungainly center-of-gravity, the suit had support cables so it doesn't topple onto the floor.

It looks like there are 2 air tanks on the back, so I expect there are some pneumatic components helping lift the arms and operating the head.

DaStompa: the suit isn't 400lbs its 400lbs with the jacked up pilot :)

I wanna know how the guy holds the 400lb thing up.  He does have to carry it when he walks.

You can see that there is a staging brace behind it, but still, he has to step out of it.  They hire Lou Ferrigno?

Yakk: I wonder how long until the military has remote control walking mechs?

Walking is stupid for a weapons platform.
