Two Persian leopard cubs were born in a Russian national park last week for the first time in 50 years, according to a statement from the World Wildlife Fund, who declined to provide any pictures except one that appears to be taken from the Hubble and may just show a fuzzy dot or two.

Picture is too fuzzy to see if they have a squished face.

They're baby leopards. OF COURSE they're fuzzy!

I am disappointed to learn that Persian leopards are not fluffy and scrunch-faced.

Not for nothing but, if they're so rare in the wild and a favorite target for poachers, perhaps releasing them back into the wild is not the best idea? At least build up the numbers first, then unleash a horde of spotted justice! ;)
