Better get there quick, since it's near 100 degrees out there, it's gonna start smelling a bit off soon.

TFA says the entire vehicle was engulfed. The pictures show this to clearly not be true.

Is Paula Deen driving that truck full of butter?  If so, it's gonna arrive 1/4 full (the optimist in me thinking).

Holy chit.  At roughly $19/lb that's over 1.5 mil worth of crab, gone.

I-95?  Now it's gonna stink when the inevitable traffic jam occurs (there is ALWAYS a traffic jam on I-95).

Yeah, but there was only about 40 thousand pounds of crabs. The whole thing may have weighed 80,000lbs.

/misleading headline is misleading

Looks like its the merit then. The smell of crab is nullified by how shiaty the sound smells right now.

Out-of-state friends and family wonder why I'd rather take the longer (mileage wise) back roads than 95. It's because I'd rather drive 30 minutes at 30-50 mph than sit on 95 for 2 hours.

Like most seafood, crab is overrated.

There, I said it.

I don't think this is funny at all.  In an overpopulated wasteful society, 80,000 lbs of crab is now unusable.  I fail to see the humor in that.  In fact, it's horrible.

Not that it makes your statement have less impact, but it's impossible that it was 80,000 lbs of crab.  More like 40-42,000.  The legal gross combination (tractor&trailer) weight is 80,000 lbs..  A tractor & trailer weigh roughly 33-35,000 lbs.

Wonder what the reckless driving stemmed from?  I really hope it wasn't from him saying that he was trying to brake and his speed went above 85 because of the grade because that would be some BS.
