Damn, that is deserving for sure.
He risked his life, could have lost his freedom and gone to jail and risked his family(?) to save people.
I wonder if he passed information of what the Nazi's were doing to the other side too.

Interesting how all of those who regularly biatch and moan about Obama and Gore winning the prize always forget to mention Kissinger.

Malala  Yousafzaiwill probably win it. Nicky Winton wouldn't give a shiat if he was nominated or not.

Cybernetic: This. It's easy to forget that there was a time when the Nobel Peace Prize wasn't a joke--when it was awarded to people like Borlaug.

I wouldn't say 'joke', but it is pretty damn hit-or-miss. If you're looking for alternative peace prizes, here's the most credible competition:

Indira Gandhi Prize
Niwano Peace Prize
Sydney Peace Prize
Thorolf Rafto Memorial Prize

Though, really, I think I'm pretty safe in putting my chips on the Nobel going to Malala Yousafzai.

ArmoredFelix: 669 is an exaggeration. Knowing Jews for the people they are, it was clearly 666.

Listen, these guys know f*cking numbers.

rjakobi: He'd certainly get a few Oscars if someone had the forethought to make a documentary on this.

Oh who am I kidding, they've moved on to the melodrama of intolerance of gays now.

Been done,
Nicky's Family
