Sometimes bad things do happen to bad people!

Reminds me of the time I was technically breaking the law and driving my full-sized van in the parking lane.  Some asshole was tailgating HARD and honking to go even faster.  I sped up and darted left at the last second, into the correct right-hand lane, where I should have been in the first place.

The tailgating asshole rear ended a parked car at 30 mph.

I laughed.

Little did you know, he had a 4 year old in the front seat who was bleeding out.

If he drives like that, I doubt he's capable of learning much of anything

Which also appears to have broke his signal lights.  Yes, I'm assuming this was a guy.

Reminds me of the trench run in Star Wars.

Right--go ahead and assume he wasn't alone in a supremely rusty car with an open 40oz and blasting rap out of low-grade buzzy speakers.  I like your societal optimism, although it's misplaced in this instance.

So if that car didn't yield when the Lexus barged into its lane, wouldn't that be the Lexus' fault in the collision?  Is that car legally obligated to yield and allow the Lexus to merge into its lane?  I'm just asking since 1) the Lexus crossed the solid white line (which is a no-no), and 2) you are suppose to merge into a lane only when it is safe and available.

Without his emergency flashers? You never let someone bleed out without using your emergency flashers...

Dude, that is in Russia. Normal road rules don't apply.

No, you see, he's driving a LEXUS. That means he is both more important than you, AND his time is FAR more valuable than yours. And, of course, traffic laws are for the little people.

You're presuming that traffic laws are the same in Russia, where there is a minimum BAC before you're supposed to drive.

If you actually have to ask this question, then I seriously hope you don't have a driver's license.

I was riding my motorcycle and some jerk in a mercedes came roaring up from behind, crowded me over so I was almost sandwiched into the car next to me, sped past me and zig zagging around cars until he almost rear ended someone who was in the middle of a lane change (with proper signaling) which forced the douch in the mercedes to swerve hard to his right.  Where upon he took out the entire side of a parked Porsche.  I felt sorry for the Porsche owner.  It was brand new.  I did not feel sorry for the mercedes driver.  I was in the process of catching up to him to kick his door for almost killing me when in happened.  I deceded karma did not need my help that day.

I've noticed that almost every time I'm behind someone driving like shiat they're in a Lexus. 9 out of 10 times.

I reckon the title of "shiatty Driver's Car of Choice" was passed from Volvo to Lexus about ten years ago.

Those solid white lines on the road mean things.

Lando Lincoln: Those solid white lines on the road mean things.

To this day, archeologists still debate their meaning.  Perhaps they had religious symbolism or led the way to game animals.

My favorite experience was a guy in a Beamer who came zooming up on my tail, leaned on his horn and passed me while flipping me off. Three minor details: 1. He crossed a double-double yellow line, 2. I drive an eight-foot tall van, so 3. he couldn't see the cop car until he cut back in and almost hit it. Cop was not happy.

I believe people of all colors and creeds, driving all makes and models can and will drive like assholes.  It's part of my faith in humanity.

A friend of mine just bought a 1998 lexus with 190,000 mile on it for $1500, I don't think he deserves any more or less hate because of it.  Unless he drives like an asshole, then he does deserve it.

I used to mess with people in a hurry until I had an emergency (preemie son's bradycardia) and the guy in front of me wouldn't let me pass. Now I let them go because maybe there's a reason they want to go faster.

Unless they are ultimate pro douches, then they drive an Audi.  BMW passed on the title sometime around 2007.

/actually its still an even split between all makes, you just notice the common expensive brands being bad drivers because you secretly want a nicer car.

Back when I delivered pizza, I was going about 60-65 in a 45 mph in the left lane on a 4 lane road with a grass median, when I noticed two things.  One, I was catching some traffic that was likely going to be turning left and second, I had a tailgater getting pissed I wasn't going faster.  After I saw the traffic I was catching I was pacing with the traffic in the right lane so I had the perfect gap to my right.  As I caught the car hanging a left I shot over and heard the tailgater's tires screech hard.  I had another delivery taking me right back the same way and the guy was out of his truck just staring at me, I have no idea if he hit the other car or not.

/In that area, EVERYONE drove 60-70 on that 45 road
//you didn't get a ticket unless you hit something.
///I would assume that has changed by now

I was born in 1974. I cropped out the rest of the personal information. But I did the cropping in, like, 2010.

The motorcycle mags and forums used to be filled with tales of Volvo related incidents. Not so much any more.

My dear old pal recently inherited his dad's high-end BMW and became an instant douche on the road. It was interesting to see the sudden transformation.

My favorite thing about Lexuses. Lexusi? Lexies? Is the fact that they're just overpriced Toyotas. It's like driving a Lincoln Blackwood and acting like you're a big swinging dick.
