Not like he's doing anything productive with his time.

American right wingers love Putin because they are not very media savvy so his photo-ops actually work on them.

Well, it's kind of refreshing. It HAS been a long time since we had a president who pondered anything or proposed solutions that don't involve Jesus coming back to earth.

Other than living for at least a year on three different continents, and working for at least three weeks on two others, no. And I'm really not much of a military expert; I've only been in the military since 1981.

What part of my "ignorance" would you like to dispute? Because, really, don't pump up Russia's military. They're Iraq with better PR.

Bill/Hillary 2016! OK, Hillary/Bill; you know she wouldn't take second billing this time.

I remember the good old days when to be tried for treason you had to release classified information about the U.S. government spying on other countries.

I don't know why Obama is letting his knickers get in a twist over this. On a scale of 1 to Cuban Missile Crisis, this is what? A 1.1? Certainly all the attention the U.S. government is giving it is helping to keep it in the spotlight.

/Unless Obama wants that?
//Gonna get my tin foil just in case.

There are less efficient ways to restart the cold war than ignoring the leader of Russia.
But after going to all the trouble of not-helping Syria and hanging Egypt out to dry, I don't see the point in starting now.

/If Obama wanted to bring Snowden home, the solution is simple.
/Offer him asylum in the US. Specifically immunity from the more serious charge of treason.
/Have a trial in civil court and sue him for his wages. Not as great a penalty but it puts the matter to bed.

The U.S. military > all the other militaries in the entire world added up together. Seriously, we have like twice as many aircraft carriers (if you count helo carriers, which the other navies do) as the next five navies added together. And the only super carriers.

And as for corruption...well, we're a solid C student. In the top 20. And that index measures local "perception" of corruption, which is skewed by a lot of low-information Fox News viewers. Russia's No. 133, behind Iran and Uganda.

See You Next Tuesday: tenpoundsofcheese: Why is a story of Obama pondering something news?

Well, it does include Obama doing something, so naturally that will piss people off. Republican people, to be more specific.

It is getting tedious, how Republicans now get angry when Obama eats crackers like he owns the place. . .

ZOMG; he went to Russia after they were rude to him!!!!

ZOMG: he DIDN'T go because he's affraid to go!!!!

They are now the party that cries wolf. Except they cry ni*bong*

I think it has a lot more to do with Syria. Possibly Iran, too, although the Russians were sort of on board there.
