Now for another exciting episode of  Joe Rogan: F*ckable White Dude Afficianado.

And if anyone would know about farking dudes, it's Joe Rogan

2013-07-18 05:40:32 PM
Wait.. who is this idiot now?

2013-07-18 05:42:25 PM
He's a Moon Hoaxer and a Truther.

It's one thing to "question everything", but in the end, when the evidence is overwhelming that we did in fact land on the moon and 9/11 did in fact happen like the report stated, the questions have been answered. That he claims to believe in science makes his positions on these matters even more egregious.

The networks are not used to putting on truly skeptical shows, or truly honest shows. They want to promote drama - that's what they like to do. They're more about, "OH MY GOD, what's going to happen right after this commercial!?"

I'll have to watch this show.

Adolf Oliver Nipples: He's a Moon Hoaxer and a Truther.

Can I take my last post back?

Adolf Oliver Nipples: He's a Moon Hoaxer and a Truther.

Who could have guessed that a UFC superfan would have cognitive deficiencies?

2013-07-18 06:03:37 PM
He's a moon hoaxer and a truther but he draws the line at UFOs?

What a chode.

2013-07-18 06:04:27 PM
I don't believe in the moon landing hoax but the guy at least did his homework. Sort of,

MaudlinMutantMollusk: Joe who?

One of the supporting cast of "NewsRadio". He's been desperately trying to get back into show business since then.

2013-07-18 06:29:55 PM
I believe in UFO's.

/it's the alien spacecraft thing I have a hard time with

2013-07-18 07:07:59 PM
He comes across as a total dick in everything I've seen him do, so I no longer watch anything he does.

2013-07-18 07:16:31 PM
Joe Rogan is also an outspoken advocate of science.

WTF? Since when is a moon-hoaxer nut bag considered an "advocate of science."

ohh I09. figures.

2013-07-18 07:17:29 PM
Didn't Baron Davis, former NBA player and current black man get abducted a couple o weeks ago?

2013-07-18 07:23:25 PM
There is no subject that Joe Rogan has a worthwhile opinion on.

2013-07-18 07:24:11 PM
Never heard of this guy, is there a reason I should give a shiat what he has to say?

Rogan actually admitted he was wrong about the moon landing hoax.

FTFA:  "But we're not in a court of law - we're talking about scientific evidence - what you've got there is a story. You just asked some people who agreed with your story to put their names to it. That's not how you do science, and that's not evidence."

...

You can achieve a state of calmness and of euphoria when you do yoga - and it's not unlike a drug. I mean, it's not like taking an incredibly potent psychedelic. But unquestioningly - without a doubt - yoga can do that to you. And this is based on my personal experience and the personal experience of many people who have done it.

A little inconsistent there Joe...

2013-07-18 07:35:13 PM
Also FTFA: On top of that, students have to sit down for far too many hours. Traditional schooling is not engaging, it doesn't allow students to find things out on their own, driven by their own enthusiasm, time, and pace. So you force people to fit into a mould, and people tend to resist these things.

There's a reason for that... "Timmy?  Have you derived calculus yet?  Stacey, put your phone down and keep analyzing the DNA of every animal on the planet and see if you find some patterns..."

Lower level school is just to teach you what other humans have already figured out.  Grad school or the job sector is where you apply that to learn new things...

He is bumping up against something that is becoming a problem in society though, the "base" and "core" knowledge you need to make new discoveries is overwhelming and grows more every day.  Perhaps Futurama isn't so far fetched in their premise that Farsworth didn't finish grad school till he was like in his 50's...

You could say that considering to what he said earlier in the interview, his position on yoga is *puts on sunglasses* quite a stretch

"Most likely" real is not the same as "real", and his reason for backing off was not because he no longer believed but because "(he) couldn't find a smart person that believed in the moon hoax". In other words, he was tired of being called the stupid person he is and decided to play along with everybody else so they'd stop calling him names.

Pardon me if I don't buy it.

So what your saying is, it says a lot about UFO-ologists when Joe Rogan thinks you're full of shiat.

And Rogan is their Idiot King.

2013-07-18 09:45:51 PM
I'm pretty sure there's a good reason why Joe Rogan has to question everything.  Let's see if Joe Rogan can see what it is.

I find it funny he's taken that road, since he believes everything else.

He's got a Gish Gallop for his 9/11 Truther line of argument that's straight out of the Creationist camp.

That's not a bad reason for backing off, actually. The sad thing is, I once had a very intelligent co-worker, someone who even knows and has worked with people from NASA, express doubts to me about the moon-landing. I kind of facepalmed and told him he should probably never reveal those doubts to anyone he worked with professionally again.

I've had a manager, with an MBA, give a speech during the meeting about evolutionary processes in business, then finish the speech with "Of course, I don't believe in evolution. I believe in the Word of Christ."

I lost my urge to explain that the vast majority of mutations kill the organism, and stability is a viable evolutionary trait.

Come on. You dont have to like his ideas, but the guy is the voice of the UFC, had a nice long run hosting Fear Factor, has one of the biggest podcasts out there, and is the headliner on many succesful stand-up tours.

I wouldn't call that "trying to get back into show business". He's in.

The question when it comes to UFOs isn't whether they exist, but whether they are extraterrestrial, terrestrial, or something else. All it means is UNIDENTIFIED flying object.

And it would be silly NOT to believe in extraterrestrials. Believing they visit Earth is something you can question, but doubting their very existence? Betting against life on other planets in this vast universe is a pretty dumb bet.

meh..rogan is a tool.  almost as bad as the tools who follow his podcast and go to all his comedy shows.  you know the type...bro hi-fives while watching 'hangover' movies...dude every other word...

i'm honestly surprised anyone follows his word and perceives it as 'wisdom'.

I'm not the bro-type and I certainly don't follow his podcast to receive his wisdom...but it's certainly entertaining as hell (He's an entertainer and a comic, THAT's why I follow him)

Joe Rogan, Dan Aykroyd believes in UFOs. Dan Aykroyd married Donna Dixon. You are wrong.

Say what you will about the rest, but don't you besmirch Dave Foley.

So he doesn't believe in UFOs, but he believes that while on drugs he has seen other universes?  Uhh, okay.

He believes in sweaty dick punching.

And if dick punching occurs, he'll give you an advertisement for compression trunks.
