Did someone not get points deducted for exceeding the regulation ribbon length or something?

It's not that important, who wins and loses. What's important is, all the girls look like they're about 12. In fact, I feel a little sad for the winners, because they have to go to the podium while all their friends are in the locker room giggling and helping each other undress.

The real scandal is that this is an Olympic event.

I would support the "sport" if it had the word "nude" in the title  (and the girls were all 18 years and older of course)...

I disagree, the regular gymnasts all have prepubescent body types, many of the rythmic "atheletes" actually looked like women when I watched the last olympics

There is, however, no indication that the cheating in any way affected actual competition; this involved people hoping to become judges for events such as the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Good lord, I didn't think there was a way I could care less. But I am proven wrong once again. I have reached absolute zero curr.

At this point, you might as well have "professional" wrestling events at the Olympics.

This just in, acronyms based on the French language are going to have the noun before the adjectives.  Which is a lot of the Olympics stuff since the Olympics came into being when French at least a worthy competitor to English in the worldwide lingua franca category (another noun before adjective example).

This is really disappointing. As a fan, I knew something was up in the latest world qualifiers when France's team wasn't awarded full for their execution in the hoop and club prelims. Fine, I get it-- it's the least popular apparatus. But execution is most important. Spain's "stunning" (used sarcastically, trust me) perfect score in the ribbon had more than one member of the audience rolling their eyes. When you have the pairing execute the cascade switch-back as their most difficult demo and they still score that high, it's obvious someone at the judging table has no idea about difficulty ratings.

Also, the head quarters of the Olympics are in Lausanne, Switzerland. Where they speak French.
