Hey, you never know! Twenty senators might have simultaneous strokes and accidentally hit the "Yea" button when this bill reaches the Senate floor, and then it would make it all the way to Obama to veto!

The only explanation I've seen so far is that 'some of our newer Representatives haven't had the chance to vote against it yet'.

It would be quicker if they just went on tv and told everyone they were partisan assholes.

Also that excuse was lame when they used it like 5 or six votes ago.

Cached page of Urban dictionary etymology & Def.

"Keep f*cking that chicken" (KFTC) is a phrase coined by television anchor Ernie Anastos during a live broadcast of the Fox 5 New York local news. It is presumably a phrase of encouragement similar to keep on truckin, only with a more pronounced and colorful air of defiance.

The chicken being f*cked may be an actual chicken, could be pejorative slang for a woman, or some other metaphor for an object of desire or enjoyable activity. In any case, KFTC seems to be a gesture of support to the recipient to continue doing whatever it is that they're doing, despite what others may say, so long as it makes them happy."

The definition of doing the same thing over and over again knowing that the result will always be the same is - farking that chicken.

BarkingUnicorn: Is there any reason I should have to buy health insurance or pay a tax a year before my employer is subjected to similar penalties?

Because a new law was passed that said so?

It's sad that you find it so hard to understand, but alas that is the sad state of our public education system I suspect.

It would have been nice if the once venerable opposition had taken the time to try and offer suggestions to the bill. Instead they demonized each and every part of it, including ideas that were actually theirs, and offered even less in the way of suggestions.

So, now here we are.

Which camp are you pitching your tent in? The one that thinks it is an entirely worthless idea or the camp that thinks its a horrid idea and are angry it's not being implemented quicker?
