(Newser)   You can't actually recall a US senator in Florida, but Tea Party activists aren't letting a little thing like that thwart their efforts to recall Marco Rubio   (newser.com) divider line 11

Rubio had this coming. He outflanked Charlie Crist during the Republican primary because Crist had the gall to compromise with the Dems on something. Who would have thought that running as the "more conservative than you" republican would come back to bite him in the ass as soon as he took one step away from the far right line. Reap what you sow asshole.

Is this the standard now, to just green articles with headlines copied directly from said article?

I had the idea of starting a Super PAC with the stated goal of getting the moast conservative guy elected. Could easily raise money through facebook and fw:FW:fw: emails. Then spend money on hookers consultants and running attack ads against all the "sane" conservatives  to primary them out and have the most bat-guano insane guy on the R side of the ballot.

And the Golems that Rove created are still running around doing crazy things.

/Sort of reminds me of Chairman's Mao's followers creating havock.

mcnguyen: Didn't their beloved St. Reagan sign a full-on amnesty bill?  Don't they subscribe to his teachings?

Many conservatives also claim to love Jesus, and yet they have no problem denying his actual teachings and history.  You think Reagan is immune?

Lee's_Austin: Zerochance: Well..he's Latino.  What did they expect?  To support legislation to round up all of us beaners and shoot us over the border in a cannon?  He was intrinsically going to be somewhat sensible.

Quickly looking at his voting record, this was really the only place he's strayed.  So, of course, they want his arse.

Yeah, he's been a pretty huge prick otherwise.  I've written to his office a number of times to register my dissatisfaction (and his responses have been equally prickish).

But it's this same mentality that prevents any compromise from Republicans.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

The inherent paradox of of teabagger politics, if the people they send to Washington do anything they are messing up because their desire is to block all governance.

The only happy teabagger appointment would be "vacant".

Rwa2play: clambam: Hispanic votes? We don't need no Hispanic votes!

The repubs could actually lose Florida if they decide to thoroughly dick over the state's Cubans. But, whatever. Pray continue with your extended political suicide.

It's not just the Cubans, it's the growing non-Cuban Hispanics that are making Florida home.  They were a big reason why Obama won Florida last year; pissing them off might not be wise at all for Florida GOPers.

Exactly.  Florida's Cuban community isn't always on the same page as Latinos from other countries.  And the Cuban demographic is no longer dominant here.
