FYI you're doing yourself and the internet a disservice if you don't click on that link to the bikini bike wash on the sidebar.

MENOMONIE, Wis. To own a towing service is to covet trucks like a skinned-kneed boy.

Why do I think his next project is to build Barbie's dream house.

You'd think his money would be better spent on a flatbed so be can actually tow the multitude of AWD Subarus in Wisconsin.

Planing on doing so after work. Just in case. Please tell me it's worth the wait.

Looked like the dude was pretty successful and had several trucks for different towing needs. Plus he built this on the frame of some truck he got for 700 bucks.

Holy crap!  I had one of those as a kid!

Actually, I had 3 really boss Tonka trucks, one for each little brother I got.  Every time my Mom came home
from the hospital with a new brother, she made sure that we always got a present to make sure we knew
that she loved it, and I suppose to subtly tell us that getting a little brother was a good thing.

I had a dump truck, a mobile crane and the mighty wrecker.

That's what I get for NRTFA...

Hasbro's lawyers to send a cease and desist letter in 3... 2... 1...

I remember the commercial they had for Tonka trucks back in the 70's showing an elephant standing on top of the dump truck and talking about how tough the toys were......for whatever reason, after seeing that, I decided to take a 2 lb hammer to mine....apparently 5 year old with a hammer > elephant.  Parents were PISSED.....

/grandma bought me another one

Aren't Tonka trucks just regular-sized trucks that have been scaled down?  So this guy built a scaled-up version of a scaled-down version of a truck.

/confusing...

I don't think they care since it is a full size replica and he built it for himself.  Hasbro is not Disney.

That's nothing.  There's a gravel company down south of Salem, OR that has a real life Long Haul (Constructicon).

Can never get a good pic of it on the rare occasion I find myself down there.

Too bad Tow truck drivers are still the lowest forms of life on this earth, and should be exterminated.

/they're barely human

I always wanted Tonka trucks when I was a kid. Never got one. So one Christmas, I went to Mills Fleet Farm and bought my nephews one of  every (steel, not plastic) Tonka truck in stock. Fleet Farm has the best selection and prices on Tonka I've ever seen.

/if Fleet Farm had a grocery department, I'd never shop anywhere else

Every company is Disney when it comes to brand control.  He is using their trademark on the truck which is a big no no.  That said, this is probably off their radar.  They're too busy trying to keep their games off of the internet.

Lincoln towing are predatory assholes. I even parked my van on the lawn to keep them from trying to tow it (nothing wrong with it, I just drove it infrequently) and STILL had to chase off a driver! If I hadn't come out of the house with a pistol in my hand I suspect he would have continued trying to hook it up.

Lincoln prowls neighborhoods looking for cars to tow. I'm positive they have a deal with the police or give some officers kick backs to write tickets on cars so their tows can be legal.

I was seriously considering Molotoving one of those "Toe trucks" when they had their lot downtown. I wouldn't risk anything like that these days, so no need to report me to Homeland Security.
