Looks like the tackler could probably win a starting job at OLB for the Detroit Lions...

That was a pretty weak tackle, he basically picked him and laid him down.

That still shot makes it look like he's trying to tackle him safely and gently. Good for him.

Wish the douchebag would have suffered permanent paralysis at least from the waist down as a result of the tackle....

does "dare" now have a different definition than it used to?

if someone said to this fool, run out onto the field, and he replied, I'll do it if you get 1000 retweets, that's a dare.

if he just decides on his own, that is not a dare. you can't dare yourself.

thak you for that compilation, much appreciated.  My favorite is the bee mascot, and nice dance after laying the guy out.

There are two articles up here claiming that he was tackled hard for no good reason.

Good reason 1:  No one knows WHY he is there.  Re: Steffi Graf.  He could have malice in mind and be dangerous.

Good reason 2:  There is a price for doing this.  You could see the concern in his mom's texts that he could get hurt.  He knew it was coming.  It is standard practice.

Good reason 3:  Jackasses deserve pain.

I think that may be the most gentle tackle that I've seen.

Because permanent paralysis is a fitting punishment for stepping into the field of play while a bunch of grown men play a childrens' game.

That ref in the DDP video looked like he was about to murder that kid.  Fun stuff.

I won't go so far as to wish for paralysis, but I definitely wish the kid got a couple cracked ribs. Douchebag fan behavior deserves to be punished with pain.

The DDP clip was pretty damn funny, considering it was the pudgy ref grabbing the fan aside from DDP himself.

Yeah, when it's one of the tertiaries that get you, the ump, the mascot, the cheerleader, those guys, that just makes it all the more humiliating. Getting your ass beat by DDP is one thing. Getting chokeholded by the ref is another thing entirely.

When I went through clips making that list, one thing I noticed is that while you might get a gentle-ish takedown or a simple grab-and-cuff-and-lead-away in most sports, you run on the field in pro wrestling and they WILL beat your ass before they do anything else to you. No exceptions. You run into the ring, you run on camera backstage, you are getting beaten into a pulp and that's the end of it. After all, they have to maintain the image of pro wrestlers as tough guys. You can't have a random fan waltz in thinking he can kick John Cena's ass and take the belt anytime he wants. That won't do. So they make sure you know exactly how much pain they can dish out before anything else happens.

This is why he did it? Hope it was worth it to you for your night in Jail and the $1500 fine to follow. Farking idiots.

I'd like to that in all sports. All players get to open one free can of whoop-ass on idiots who run onto the field of play.
