Kima: Officer Pryzbylewski shot the wall, Lieutenant.

Daniels: Why?

Kima: Why did you shoot the wall,Officer Pryzbylewski?

Prez: I was just showing Carv how my trigger pull is light, you know - I got it so it's real light.

Carver: He took the clip out, boss.

Daniels: But not the one in the chamber.

Prez: No, I forgot the one in the chamber, and....shiat, I'm sorry, lieutenant.

Sounds about right for APD...

There's a reason COPS was run out of town by our former mayor. Just sayin.

Not if you keep your finger off the trigger until the weapon is on target and you have a firm intent to kill something.  If you are moving, it better damn well be indexed on the frame.

Are you one of those dumbasses who goes ballistic over Condition 3 carry, but doesn't get bent out of shape over how holster choice - say a tuckable IWB holster vs. a Yaqui-style holster vs. a shoulder holster - makes an even bigger time difference?

/What combat firearms have in common: A safety.

No.  If you want to carry condition 3, go right ahead.  I won't ever advise it in one of my classes, but it's your choice to carry your firearms how ever you want.  I also won't ever advise a shoulder holster, but whatever.

demaL-demaL-yeH: /What combat firearms have in common: A safety.

No true.  Glocks and Sigs both don't have a safety and are used by several armed forces, so they qualify as Combat Firearms.

Kinda hard to be smarter when they're just women. Just women with a small brain. With a brain a third the size of us. It's science.

The cops got the memo to use the term 'International District," but the bollards erected at every intersection to prevent drive-by shootings suggest what everyone else calls it. My wife used to work for CYFD and went in there regularly at night. It really is a war zone.

That Sig is not issued to line - the M11 contract was for concealed carry. And Special Forces get away with carrying all sorts of stuff that hasn't gone through procurement channels.

So wait... you argument is now going to be that if it's not issued to mainline US military forces then it's not a combat pistol?  So, only the M9 is a combat pistol?  Never mind that the Sig is the standard issue pistol for the Navy Seals... they don't count?... and never mind that the Sig is issued to military forces in Bangladesh, Canada, Finland, France, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Turkey, UAE, the UK and the US.

Not to mention the hundreds of police agencies.

Glocks have a similar lineage in that they are in widespread use with a large number of military units.

How many combat units have to issue a pistol before it qualifies as being a combat pistol to you?

demaL-demaL-yeH: //And the Air Force replaced Glocks with the FN 5.7 (manual safety on the barrel).

Not the US Air Force.  They issue M9s.  Which does nothing to discredit the fact that there are plenty of combat pistols with no safety.  The Czechs turned in their Glocks for CZ-75 SP-01 Phantoms.  No safety on either of those.

Didn't you just throw out the M9, which has a manual safety, as the standard issue?
Combat? The M11 is issued to small-handed and undercover military cops. Not combat.
/Just because I don't comment immediately does not mean that I don't notice.

Again, you are artificially limiting the class of firearms "Combat Firearms" to those only issued by the United States military, and then even further restricting it to those specifically issued to some as of yet undefined sub-branch of the United States military.  The Sig 226 has been standard issue for Navy Seals for decades.  FYI, you are also wrong on the M11 being not combat deployed.  It's the standard issue for Naval Aviators.  So, even within just the confines of the US military, you are wrong.

Your ability to deny reality makes is strongly paralleled with Team Trayvon.

Face it, Glocks and SIgs are in military use world wide.  It's simply not deniable.  Ergo, the statement, "What combat firearms have in common: A safety." is patently false.  I'm terribly sorry that you aren't confident enough in you gun handling skills to trust yourself with a loaded firearm that doesn't have a safety, but that has nothing to do with, nor changes the fact that there are plenty of combat firearms with no safety.
