Our house was a very, very, very fine house.
With two cats in the yard.
Life used to be so hard.
Now everything is easy,
'Cause of you...
And our la, la, la, la, LAWSUIT!

Hey, I've got a idea.  Why not put a big notice on the house to be demolished and have the crews not knock down anything with a prominently displayed notice on it.

It could say something like "CONDEMNED - TO BE DEMOLISHED".

Quoth the homeowner, "You pinstriped barbarians, I'll sue the council for every penny it's got! I'll have you hung and drawn and quartered...a - and whipped and boiled... and then I'll chop you up to little bits! Until... until... until you've had enough! And then I'll do it some more. And when I've finished I'll take all the little bits and I'll... I'll - I'll jump on them! And I'll carry on jumping on them until I get blisters... or I can think of something even more unpleasant to do!"

I just hope he knows where his towel is.

fusillade762: Dave Gahan's doing heroin again?

I thought it was THAT song too.

However, that song goes:

"I was born with the wrong signIn the wrong houseWith the wrong ascendancyI took the wrong roadThat led to the wrong tendenciesI was in the wrong place at the wrong timeFor the wrong reason and the wrong rhymeOn the wrong day of the wrong weekI used the wrong method with the wrong technique"
/Thanks all the same to subby the Depeche Mode song is now stuck in my head

My brain went there to at first, then I wasn't sure if it was a spoof or not.  (I'm not familiar with the actual song now that I listed to it.)

The DM song is still stuck in my head, though.

Not if the city and the demolition company are smart. They will offer him around two times market value to not file a lawsuit, because really what jury is going to side with them? I mean they destroyed grandma's antiques, all those baby pictures, those priceless family heirlooms. Things you just can't get back, oh the pain, oh the agony, oh the mental anguish.
