gfid: I don't think it is on mine, but I've heard people claim that 911 can even be dialed on a phone that is locked.

All cell phones, by FCC rules, have to allow an emergency call at any time. The cell carrier must accept the call from any cell phone that tries to place it. You don't need active service, or to provide a lock code or anything. Check the lock screen on any phone, there is always an 'emergency call' or similar button.

A wonderful use of police resources: arrest some guy getting high in the privacy of his own home. I'm glad that my state has decided that it's better to just get tax revenue from potheads than try to prevent them from getting high.
