racist tweet against blacks....OMFG LOOK AT THAT!11111

Blacks rioting in Crenshaw....... meh, look at this duck

Seriously, ya'll farking hilarious.

Just like when the flash mob attacks happen in Philadelphia and they're pretty much ignored because it's groups of black kids attacking white victims.

Yeah the city is in flames! It's total bedlam! White people are cowering due to the negro menace!

Do you even know what a riot is? Canadians do more damage when their hockey team wins.

I'm still right, you're still a racist that considers black people to be out of control animals with a hive mind.

Hand out $10 gift certificates to Walmart that expire in 1 hour the street will be vacant in 5 minutes. Much cheaper than paying everyone law enforcement all that overtime.

Crazy how the racists on Fark are coming out of the woodwork, I didn't know we had so many on the site. They seem to be hoping some kind of race war happens, while any sane person knows this wont lead to anything. What's going on in LA is nothing compared to what normally happens in that city, these aren't even riots.

Meh. That's L.A. for you - there's always a few assholes looking to break a few windows. That's how we roll here. Court case ends badly, Lakers win championship, UCLA wins "freeway" trophy - it doesn't take much. I feel pity for the little puss-pusses who think this is a "riot".
Wehaven't had a real riot in L.A. for over twenty years, and I don't expect one now. You silly children need to calm and quiet down.

He can't, he folds when challenged. The most specific he got was that I'm racist against everyone that isn't black. Which is nutty, as I'm not black.

But these are the things brain dead racists tell themselves to feel better about their racism.

I'm actually a big fan of CCW and carry pretty regularly.  I also find Zimmerman's actions to be despicable.  In the best of lights he intentionally and unnecessarily inserted himself into a potentially dangerous situation while armed and a kid died as a result.  I also find it pretty horrifying how many gun owners find absolutely no fault with what he did.  From a legal perspective, with the evidence available, he's not guilty of violating any laws.  From a moral perspective he's got a lot to answer for.

TheJoe03: Crazy how the racists on Fark are coming out of the woodwork, I didn't know we had so many on the site.

They've always been here.  But, the Zimmerman trial has been like catnip to them.  And, of course, they're desperate to describe any commotion, no matter how limited, a riot.

The sad thing is, there are actual riots happening right now in Belfast:   Rioters threw petrol bombs, bricks, bottles and fireworks at police in a third night of violence in Northern Ireland around traditional Protestant marches, wounding one officer early on Monday.

Protesters built a burning barricade across one road and burned out one car during the clashes that first flared on Friday following a dispute over a marching route.

Thousands of pro-British Protestants march every summer, a regular flashpoint for sectarian violence as Catholics, many of whom favour unification with Ireland, see the parades as a provocation.

A 1998 peace deal mostly ended decades of sectarian strife in the British province but trouble still breaks out, particularly around the Orange parades which mark a 1690 Protestant victory over a Catholic king.

Police said they had brought hundreds of reinforcements from Britain to cope with any more violence.

Such as what?
He followed someone he felt was acting suspicious, nothing legally or morally wrong here. I've done it myself.
The person he was following turned and confronted him, at best he backed down and made to call the police and at worst he challenged back with another question. Where's the immoral action here?
The followed then incites physical violence, G defends himself. Spot the immoral action here (hint: it wasn't the defense).

You expect me to condemn a man morally, because he did things that I myself would do and have done? His situation ended differently than mine, but that wasn't through any fault of his own.

1) Zimmerman didn't make the situation "dangerous"; Martin did. Zimmerman only "inserted himself". And the situation didn't even become "dangerous" until Martin decided to make it so. Not illegal on Zimmerman's part, nor even immoral. People "insert their selves" into dangerous situations on a daily basis, usually with positive outcomes. The difference here: Martin's aggression and belligerence.

2) Zimmerman only wanted to maintain visual contact. Martin initiated and escalated physical contact and altercation to the point  where Zimmerman felt lethal force was necessary.

I didn't say you ever met him.  I didn't say you loved him.  I said the question you posed is the same one that I've posed to Zimmerman lovers.

A man was charged with murder and there was a rather large contingent of people not just eager to defend Zimmerman's rights but also seemingly eager to put the victim on trial.  That never made sense to me.

I don't have a problem with CCW in general.  There's plenty (to me) of legitimate reasons why a person should have a firearm hidden on their person.  My issue is the reasons *why* people feel the need to have it, and in my experience they're people that are genuinely scared of the world around them and compensate by having a CCW.  You seem to have a good head on your shoulders.  No problem.

Why don't they just riot over the things they're really angry about?  Or maybe do a vocal protest?  If the reason for this angst really is that some black kid got killed 2000 miles away and that the non-black guy who was the other half of that altercation isn't being punished for it, then all of these people are idiots.  However, I'm guessing that they're probably more concerned with the state of their life where they live.

The 'victim' as you call him did break George Zimmerman's nose. He hit George Zimmerman's head off the concrete. He was seen on top of George Zimmerman, straddling him, raining down blows.

Victim?

Of his own decisions. Had he not decided to teach the creepy ass cracker a lesson, I have no doubt that Trayvon Martin would not have died that night.

From my end it's pretty simple.  I frequent auctions and such and will sometimes have a decent chunk of cash on my person.  Additionally, due to some happenings beyond my control, I am no longer confident in my ability to successfully extricate myself from a bad situation should I enter into one.  I very much hope I will never be in a situation where I have to use my firearm, and if anything I am even more cautious about where I go and what I do when I am carrying.  For example, I don't follow random dudes around who aren't committing any criminal acts because I think something strange may be afoot.

What I don't understand is the news outlets claiming that Zimmerman is white....he is not. He is of Hispanic descent. Every form I fill out differentiates Hispanic from White, Black, American Indian, etc.

Could they be stirring the pot to encourage outrage and violence so they would have outrage and violence to report on so they could sell more copies or get better ratings?
