The Zen philosopher Bassho once wrote, "A flute with no holes is not a flute, and a donut with no holes, is a Danish."

Let me tell you a little story? I once knew a guy who could have been a great golfer, could have gone pro, all he needed was a little time and practice. Decided to go to college instead. Went for four years, did pretty well. At the end of his four years, his last semester he was kicked out... You know what for? He was night putting, just putting at night with the fifteen-year-old daughter of the Dean... You know who that guy was Danny?

Take one good guess...

You know...the Dalai Lama is speaking 20 minutes from my house in a few months.

I really want to see if there is a way to do a meet and greet or something.

I have a bushwood country club caddy shirt. I feel a picture with him while I was wearing that shirt would complete my life.

I did that once.

On a driving range.

Accidentally.

With my brother and my sister-in-law sitting directly behind me.

I don't go to the driving range anymore.

His father, I believe made a green with traps in his backyard for him to practice and this is where he learned how to shoot this shot.  I didn't watch the video, but from the description and the picture, I believe I know what shot you can only be speaking of.

Ok, I watched it.. he has been doing this for years and learned how to do so in his backyard.
Here is a link when he looks about 21 yrs old explaining how he does it.  It is pretty awesome.  I always root for Phil.

Things like this come in handy when you're stuck in places like stacked-sod bunkers that are taller than you are.
