ZeroPly: fickle floridian: It's too bad these things don't scale. Try DR instead of MR and see how many calls that gets.

DR can be male or female, so then aren't you right back where you started?

Also DR would imply PHD and would give cause to either rejection or immediate termination if got hired.  Wouldn't really help much would it?

more or less than crazy names like Apple or Pilot Inspektor.

Johnny Cash would agree.

My brain is still reeling from learning earlier today that A Boy Named Sue was written by...Shel Silverstein.

Try this and prepare for your mind to melt: 00 JWDB/ref=sr_1_10?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1373982256&sr=1-10&keywords=shel+ silverstein

I highly recommend "Freakin' at the Freakers Ball," "Polly in a Porny," and "Stacy Brown Got Two."  Just don't let the kids listen.  To any of it.

OniNeko: I'm more pissed that girls keep stealing the boy names.

1) Most folks don't choose their own names.
2) Someone else having a particular name doesn't rob anyone else of the ability to use that name.
3) The only way in which girls 'stealing the boy names' can even be viewed as a problem is if one considers the 'feminisation' of the boy's name as something undesirable - which in turn stems from a negative view of girls (interesting how there's no corresponding trend of boys 'stealing the girl names'). In which case, the problem can be found in the mirror.
