One of the things I hate is how they're all describing her views on vaccines as "controversial". She advocates killing children. That's not controversial, that's just terrible. Ok, maybe that's a little bit hyperbolic. More accurately, she advocates letting children die.

2013-07-15 04:41:10 PM
Good idea, there are WAY to many American parents who still vaccinate their children out there anyway.

You're overthinking it, subby.

"How do we replace an attractive blonde woman whose only redeeming qualities are her tits?"
*shakes tree, seven hundred women fall out*
"Ah, here's one."

Nah, you have to put some effort into finding so much "stupid" and "fail" in just one little blonde.

For all of the disagreements I have with Hasselbeck, Jenny McCarthy's body count is FAR higher.

I swear someone called this in the initial thread about Hasselbeck moving to Fox.

Step up and collect your winnings!

She's so stupid that maybe daily exposure will dissuade most people from following her beliefs.

2013-07-15 05:53:14 PM
Ah, never mind. I guess it had already been announced that McCarthy was her replacement.

I don't watch The View, never have, but I don't like this purely from the standpoint that medically ignorant shiatheads should not be given a platform in which to spew their medically ignorant shiatheadery.  This to me, is a far cry from someone assuming a different political or religious stance than me, or anyone else.  Being a Conservative and espousing Conservative beliefs may make you look like a moron, but it won't kill anyone.  Telling parents not to vaccinate their kids because it'll cause mental retardation and/or autism is farking dangerous.  Unless you have an M. D. from an accredited and reputable medical school, you don't get to pontificate with any degree of certainty, what is or is not medically safe/viable.  Sorry.  That's not farking allowed.

So Jenny McCarthy can go fark herself.

At least The View didn't up it's IQ quotient with the new hire.

Could have been worse. It's could have been Anne Coulter.

This would either be the best thing ever on t.v. or it would be dividing by zero and end life as we know it.

Why not look at the positive? It might open up a vortex of stupid that will devour them all

Well, they need to stick with their theme and go with Anna Benson.  I mean, you know, if they care about ratings.

I'm shocked that a lot of you would think that a Playboy Centerfold would have a reasonable view on vaccination. Why even get upset? It's not like she's being hired for a PBS show.

Because people listen to her and believe her. There are a bunch of dead infants in California because of the shiat she spews.

6 of one half dozen of another.  I don't want to hear either one talk, and I'd let either one do the whole show while sitting square on my nose.

Agreed.  The additional spotlight and wealth that this show will give her will allow her to contribute even more to causes that kill children. That's not controversial.  It's not even terrible.  It is farking evil.

Jenny McCarthy should have been shunned and blacklisted.  If people need examples of how to properly do that, please refer to Joseph McCarthy for additional information..

Jenny McCarthy should stick to what she does best.

Being naked.

Why can't they invite a woman who is actually intelligent, educated, and knowledgeable about stuff? A scientist or educator or something. A Rachel Maddow type.

It is painful to listen to four appallingly ignorant women quack incessantly about subjects they think they understand but don't.

Ishkur: Why can't they invite a woman who is actually intelligent, educated, and knowledgeable about stuff? A scientist or educator or something. A Rachel Maddow type.

Because she would make everyone else on the show look bad and alienate the people who watch it.

2013-07-15 08:55:31 PM
the saddest part is enough people tune in and watch this dreck to give it ratings. i have more respect for viewers who live on a broadcast diet of game shows, cartoons, sitcoms and a few 'reality' shows.

KrispyKritter: game shows

The inner sadist in me does have a thing for Let's Make a Deal.  That show is delightfully evil in how it makes people continue choosing after they take the prize only to see that their choices would have resulted in a larger prize, all while dressed the fool.

Because having someone smart on would make it blindingly obvious how clueless the rest of them are. Can't have that.

Honestly I was like, what could possibly be worse... and then I looked at the article and my eyes shot open and was like "whoa!"

However, I think this is a good thing. The reason is that when some nutter like McCarthy is on their own, they'll always have their little private stage where they can squirrel about and get their views across without any solid opposition. Even if that opposition exists, because they have no actual platform and ergo there's no target. But now that she's on the view, she can espouse her bullshiat even more in view of the nation... and get shut down directly in front of everyone once and for all.

2013-07-15 09:51:55 PM
She'll fit in nicely with the Rosie O'Donnell 'fire doesn't melt steel' crowd, as well as the Sherri Shepherd flat-earthers.

/Really, Barbra, are you happy you've set the women's movement back to the Stone Age?

2013-07-15 09:55:59 PM
Good.  Stupidity should be highlighted, not ignored.  It festers if it is ignored.
