Even if you were strong enough to hold a building from the base and lift it into the air, the structure itself would collapse under it's own weight...or something to that effect.They actually, surprisingly, sort of showed this in Superman Returns when he caught the airplane and it showed the fuselage buckling and he stopped it.But it's like this. I'm strong enough to lift, say, a table size graham cracker. But the cracker would break either in my hands, or just past them, if I tried to actually lift and carry it across the room!
