I'm no patient enough to allow about 40 different subdomains through NoScript, and then watch a 30 second commercial before the actual video.

That last bit gets me every time.

Anyone have a link that doesn't take forever to load?

Are we bad people for refusing to engage in an advertising arms race with lazy content-redistributors?

Here's hoping someone links the original video.

The guy was making his dogs listen to him say grace before letting them eat? I don't even.

I'm sorry, I can't find your shiatty video under that huge pile of 3rd party scripts you spilled on your site.

2013-07-15 03:35:12 PM
no video link ever showed up on that page

Bad site.
Let's just all agree dogs can be awesome and move on...

I am glad I am not the only one that didn't want to mess with all the scripts. What a pain.

Well subby, you may have got a few click throughs for your favorite radio station (or employer/client), but you pissed off a few FARKers. We don't think you are cool anymore.

And you've seen all the clips.

Mostly of cats and babies being dicks to dogs.

My pup being patient when I come home and get settled before I give her pets is the most pathetic thing I've ever witnessed. She squirms around as if she's covered in ants.

I've found that a one-two punch of AdBlockPlus and Ghostery is a good compromise for most sites.

Yup. I have them running at all times and only whitelist sites I trust and go to regularly.

Most of the original videos come up on the youtubes:

I refuse to watch videos where a friggin' ad plays before the video. It's not like there are not enough ads on the page with the embedded video.

30 second ad? FFFUUUUUUU
