Yeah, but congress members are a special breed of stupid, greedy and selfish all rolled into one. Plus, congress was created to provide us with endless lulz, which is nice.

Yes, serfs!
Work, work, work, so you won't go MAD.
Work until you die.

What a timely report.

Well if your job is your life and after its over you have nothing to do, yeah.

My dad retired later than most (age 70), and within six months he was dealing with dementia.  It's possible, though, that he was dealing with it already and chose to retire.

/My retirement plan is to have my carcass dragged out of my cubicle.

Congress seems to be less of a job and more of a hobby for some congresscritters.

Yes, because the millenials need even MORE boomers refusing to retire based on this "evidence".

Look, you don't need to go to work. Pick up a hobby. Go to the beach. Do something fun. Stay active in one way or another.

Just stop working if you don't need the money to survive. Seriously. It's time, gramps and grandma to turn the reins over.

Screw the millennial crowd, this Gen-Xer needs his boomer- boss to move the hell out of the way so I can have his job and be WAY better at it.

/the millennials that work here wouldn't know real work if if slapped them in the pie-hole
//my lawn, get off it

Bleh, I use my brain exponentially more in my hobbies than I do at my job. On my last day of work, I will sprint out of the office and I suspect that my physical and mental health will improve noticeably in the months and years that follow.

But, thanks for trying show me that I don't really want to retire anyway. I`m totally sure that you`re not just trying to subtly prepare me for the extinction of retirement as a default eventuality.

As appealing as it is, though, I think I`ll pass on literally wasting my entire life on futile busywork.

Nobody should be allowed to serve more than 12 years combined in Federal elected office ( still keeping the two term max on president) meaning two terms as senator or 6 terms in the House or 1 as Senator and 3 in three House or 1 term as Senator, 1 in term in the House and 1 as President. Max age for Federal elected office 65 years of age.

Jesus jumping Christ, THIS. I enjoy my job, but if I could walk out right now and keep a similar standard of living I'd make Hussien Bolt look slow getting out the door.

Wow, this is bad news for Obama's legions. All those non working folk, scamming the system with Social Security disability claims, will soon be honest people! They will be truly disabled.

Forget that.  I will retire as soon as I can comfortably afford it and I'll try to stay sharp by staying active, traveling, being involved in things I care about, etc.

They prove that decades of hookers and blow can mitigate the effect.
