That's so Metta.

FTA: While the Knicks are World Peace's first choice, he is also holding onto the Los Angeles Clippers and China's Shanghai Sharks as possible teams to join next season.

For the love of god, the last one please.  That would put the planet's core between us and the concentrated crazy of that goon.  Also, it's just a quick hop across the East China Sea for weekends with Kim Jong-un.

In retrospect the Knicks probably didn't want him at that point in his career.  He might of lasted 2-3 yrs in NYC as opposed to playing in a calm relaxing environment where the media is behind you, not against you after every loss.  He seriously chilled out in the past couple years, and it is probably due to all the weed he smokes and the help he was offered addressing his anger issues etc.. also Kobe.  He would not of had this in NY IMO.

He's from Queens and played at SJU, so I don't think he would have necessarily been blinded by the bright lights. I see your point, but to put that Frederic Weis pick in perspective, I've played as many NBA minutes as him. I mean, the only thing the guy is remembered for, aside from being the guy the Knicks chose over Artest, is for this
