Top Sprinters Test Positive, Jolting Track World

Please tell me they wrote that headline with tongue firmly planted in cheek. All track and field athletes are as dirty if not more so than cyclists and MLB power hitters. You can only assume that every track star is doping heavily.

If we didn't expect such heroic record-breaking feats of speed and strength and skill from our athletes we wouldn't have this problem.

Honestly, no surprise. That's how the game goes.

Gay.

I say let all athletes get jacked-up however the fark they want. Let's REALLY see how far they can go.

This shouldn't surprise anyone.

I want to be a track and field athlete from little nation with no team.  I'd go to the olympics run a 16 second 100M and a four hour marathon and in about ten years everyone else will have been disqualified and I'll get both gold medals by default.

Gay is 30, so for all intents and purposes his career is over.  That's a weird position to be in at that age but I guess that's athletics for you.

Anyone else see this bust and expect Carmelita Jeter to be one of the ones named?

Professional athletes taking performance enhancing substances to improve their performance? SAY IT AIN'T SO!

you have pee hands: Anyone else see this bust and expect Carmelita Jeter all of the top sprinters, distance runners, and throwers, to be named?

He should have run away.

The athletes that are not "CHEATING " by using banned substances are probably using substances that are one molecule away from being a banned substance.

I wish I had come up with this plan.  Now the best I can do is take bronze, because there is no way i am running a sub-16 100 on my knees.

Yes. I am astonished Bolt hasn't been caught yet either. Then again, he honestly could just be a genetic freak. You don't usually see men that talk run fast.

I'm still waiting for Alberto Salazar's group of distance guys and girls to have a couple people busted for doping.

Google "Stupid Athlete Arrested For Murder"

I can only imagine that he walked into SuperCuts and asked for the Cell Block D.

It's either that or humans are just evolving physically so fast that they can keep breaking world records year after year.

So you think the jumpers are clean?

That would explain why USA sucks at horizontal jumps...

Heh, 9.79* was on this past week.  Little discussed fact about that race, 4 of the top 5 runners in that race, including Lewis, had failed drug tests at some point prior to the Olympics.

2016's going to be a sprinter's duel between Teller, Silent Bob, and Marcel Marceaux.

I liked him setting up a 10k for Hasay last night with male pacers to get her the standard in the 10k.

Surprisingly, I initially sided with Bslim on this issue.  As long as it's out in the open and confined to the pro ranks, I'm OK with it. But then, it could never be confined to just the pro ranks, could it?
