Beats me.  Dad let me watch x-rated movies when I was 9 months old.

2013-07-15 12:07:37 AM
I think it was Porky's when I was 10. We had HBO so it may have been something else. But Porky's left an impression on me.

2013-07-15 12:07:53 AM

8 years old
Was some movie from the 70's with a naked woman on Showtime, on the same day Porky's which was the 2nd.  Skipped the bus stop with some friends, we drank my mom's red wine.  Yeah I guess that was a good indicator of my upcoming teenage years.

2013-07-15 12:11:50 AM
Phantasm on HBO at my buddies Luke house.  We were in 5th grade.

2013-07-15 12:11:58 AM
9, The Breakfast Club. Hard to believe that's an R film.

2013-07-15 12:12:03 AM
6 or 7, Shaft, babysitter fell through.

/Get off my lawn

2013-07-15 12:12:21 AM
I saw poltergeist when I was about 7 or 8. I'm sure that was rated R.

2013-07-15 12:12:49 AM
So, whatev. My first R was Shaft at a drive-in that has long ceased to exist. FARK YOU MODMINS. Srsly. You be promoting some retarded tfd threads.

I really can't remember. Must have been late, though; Mom was overprotective.

The Exorcist
At the drive-in - ma/pa thought I was asleep in the back of the station wagon. Couldn't eat or sleep for 4 days after.

6. My dad wanted to see Jaws and the only way that was happening is if I was going. I don't even know if he told my mom. We also happened to live in a beach town. I didn't go in the water for about 6 years.

2013-07-15 12:13:25 AM
Nope, Poltergeist is PG.

2013-07-15 12:13:27 AM

At the theater, it was Animal House when I was 14.

2013-07-15 12:15:59 AM
I was like 6 when I first saw The Blues Brothers, but that feels like a technical R since it got there on the merits of just saying fark a lot.

2013-07-15 12:16:00 AM
Animal House at the theater with my dad, and older brother. I was 5, or 6. When the tittays came on, my brother and I looked over at my dad. He just said "don't tell your mother".

I remember being really really little and walking in on my parents and their friends watching Aliens.

2013-07-15 12:17:26 AM
"The Hospital". I was 20 years old & had just moved to Portland. R-rated movies weren't shown at any theaters in the Eugene/Springfield area back then. (early 70s).

I think the movie's rating has been changed to either PG-13 or PG, but I can't remember which.

2013-07-15 12:17:38 AM
Blazing Saddles. I was 8

2013-07-15 12:18:06 AM

Satan's Chocolate Starfish: The Meaning Of Life

is not?

2013-07-15 12:20:05 AM
I was like 9 or 10. My mom dropped me off at the theater in the mall while she got a haircut. She got me a ticket to the movie "Grizzly" thinking it was a Grizzly Adams movie. She sat me in the seat and said she'd be back when it was over. It was about a bear ripping teenagers to shreds. I hid under the seats.

Jaws is PG

CSB: when I was like seven I remember a friend saying there was sex in the Terminator movie. I thought to myself "how can you have sex with a robot?" How things have changed for me...
We had the VHS version of Beetlejuice, which contained the phrase "Nice farking model!"

NSFW language

That movie was PG, and made in '88 so it's not like they didn't have pg-13. Wiki lists a few PG films that say fark.

2013-07-15 12:20:59 AM
Some friends and I watched Motel Hell at a sleepover. I was 9 at the time. I know I didn't sleep well for a few days after that.

Jaws is PG

It was rated R when it was originally released theatrically. It was later downgraded to a PG rating.

I'm thinking the original nightmare on elm street, but there might have been earlier.

Either the redux of Cat People or Scanners. My far-more-liberal-than-anyone-else-in-the-family aunt (by marriage) moved into a house directly across the street from a drive-in theatre screen while she was separated from my father's brother. During the rare times I'd be allowed to spend the night with her and my cousins during summer break, she'd allow us to sit out front with binoculars and watch movies.
