Had a quick look around Brown Jug after work, didn't spot it.

I have one thing to say to those of you who are boycotting this beer for whatever your personal reasons are:

Yay! More for me!

\ everybody's gotta believe in something
\\ I believe I'll have another beer

CoolHandFluke: Stone is good.  But if you want a great beer out of San Diego, Go with this.

A great beer indeed, but vastly over-priced.....$14.99 for a sixer here in Austin, to steep....

So how do I figure out where this gets distributed? Undoubtedly it will be found within 5 miles of where I live in the LA area, but Stone has so many brews and vendors that I don't think their beer finder thingy is all that accurate.

well, depends on which part of la. Allied ( millercoors ) has the valley and ventura county. Stone also has their own distro op. Solution : look for stone products and ask for it. I might stock this, even though i lack door space. It depends on how many folks ask for it.

Oh, their beers are easy to find. The question is where to find specific ones. Stone's website has a beer finder that uses a Google Maps API, but some of the listed places don't say which beer(s) they have - I'm guessing that thing would be a pain to update, though, with so many locations. It just occurred to me to try the BevMo a couple miles from my place. I got some Oaked Arrogant Bastard a few days ago from the grocery store 2 blocks away, but they probably won't have the more limited edition type stuff.

the big 3 ralphs abertsons vons all have "please add this item" cards at the checkout. Also- if a liquor store carries a few different stone items, chances are they either will order it or already have done so.

Livingroom: if wheaton had anything to do with this, he proved he was a huge douche with his comments about the zimmerman trial, and i'm not going to give him a thin dime.

Oh, buy the beer.  It looks like the third partner is one of the Koch brothers so it all evens out.
