In fairness, it's hard to imagine how you would bring a child up to justify his death by falling cow.

I'm trying to think of a stranger way to die, than having a cow fall you while sleeping and I am failing.

The worst part of this is what he likely thought would turn out to be a strange or funny anecdote turned tragic. He was probably sitting in the hospital, thinking, "l'll bet I'll be able to get a few free beers for my "cow fell on me while sleeping story."

1 tonne (metric) = 2204.6 lbs. So 3306.9 lbs. That's a heavy farking cow.

He added police officers were also trying to identify the owner of the cow, who could be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

They're going to charge the cow with involuntary manslaughter? Good luck finding a translator for the defendant.

Wikipedia says that Chianina bulls can be that heavy.

"Police officers were also trying to identify the owner of the cow, who could be charged with involuntary manslaughter."

I don't know what it is about this day and age where people need to point the finger of blame at someone for everything. Unless the farmer intentionally walked his cow onto the guys roof I don't see how you can put the blame on him. Sometimes you just got to chalk things up to a freak accident.

About 2x the weight of an average Hereford.

That's at the larger end of the spectrum but yes, some breeds can get that big, especially a bull.

Yeah, average weight of a full grown cow is ~1600 lbs. I'm guessing a poor Brazilian farmer doesn't have any Italian Chianina bulls. Could be wrong, but I'm kinda leaning towards bullshiat daily fail article is bullshiat.

The breed is originally from Italy but the article says there are thousands of them in Brazil.
