doglover: Is the arrest expunged if the alabi checks out?

I have a feeling once the charges are dropped, the cops involved are going for resisting arrest charges.  They may even swing by his place and arrest any other residents for harboring a fugitive.  If he gave any officers a dirty look, that's assault on an officer.  He better hope all his library books are returned.  If not, grand larceny.

TwistedFark: So wait... they verified his alibi and then they didn't drop the warrant. Also this guy could hardly be described as a fugitive if he was at his own residence the entire time.

What the fark gives with these cops?

A judge issued the warrant. Even if the police can verify his innocence, he's still going to get arrested and brought before the judge, because the judge is the only one with the power to make that warrant go away.

These morans that continue using social media when they're on the run or whatever, don't they realize that the NSA can pinpoint their location to fifteen decimal points of a diatomic hydrogen molecule's nucleus without even breaking a sweat?
Or, more importantly, how about the ones that eschew social media once they're fugitives? They think they're off the grid. No paying by plastic, no contact with family, no phones, no iTunes, not even any outdoor activity in daylight in case the Goggle drones buzzing the planet take a photo and 'accidentally' report it straight to NSA Command in Kansas. They're still being watched, take away all the electronics with all the spying equipment they have built-in and go run hide up a mountain, down a valley or even try and live in the sea, you're still being tracked, filmed and processed every second and every split-second... because moms. Moms are notorious songbirds and it only takes a pack of those new Taco-mallows, or maybe a James Deen butt-hair comb, or even a tiny stanky old school wedge of cash and your lovely mama will squeal like a piglet getting punched in the balls by an scorpion and sell your soul. Was a thing back in the 70s when all my generation had mind -control apparatus installed in our heads, crudely I might add, and in exchange our beloved mother's got Barry Manilow autographed toothbrushes. Now? I dread to think what they are installing in kids today but don't think for a minute your mama didn't sell your ratty ass out for a trinket, better still, don't think. At all.

If he was found out to be in the hospital why wasn't the warrant dropped?

They caught him where they knew he lived. What did Facebook posts have to do with it?

Why not wait until he clicks that he's checked in somewhere and then arrest him where he's checked in at?
