Don't fly over Los Gatos.

The crops are all in and the peaches are rott'ning,
The oranges piled in their creosote dumps;
They're flying 'em back to the Mexican border
To pay all their money to wade back again

Goodbye to my Juan, goodbye, Rosalita,
Adios mis amigos, Jesus y Maria;
You won't have your names when you ride the big airplane,
All they will call you will be "deportees"

My father's own father, he waded that river,
They took all the money he made in his life;
My brothers and sisters come working the fruit trees,
And they rode the truck till they took down and died.

Some of us are illegal, and some are not wanted,
Our work contract's out and we have to move on;
Six hundred miles to that Mexican border,
They chase us like outlaws, like rustlers, like thieves.

We died in your hills, we died in your deserts,
We died in your valleys and died on your plains.
We died 'neath your trees and we died in your bushes,
Both sides of the river, we died just the same.

The sky plane caught fire over Los Gatos Canyon,
A fireball of lightning, and shook all our hills,
Who are all these friends, all scattered like dry leaves?
The radio says, "They are just deportees"

Is this the best way we can grow our big orchards?
Is this the best way we can grow our good fruit?
To fall like dry leaves to rot on my topsoil
And be called by no name except "deportees"?

Now they are actually doing it right.  No more "we are taking you to the border so you can try again tomorrow"

So, a Mexican needs to travel to Mexico City from Tiajuana..hmmm

Took them long enough to get it right! They would drop them off on the other side of the border two weeks later they would be back! This way maybe it will take them 6 months to a year.......

And they do try again the next day and most just walk right back over! But  Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says our border is secure?! Would like to see her live near the border it's like the Rocky Horror Picture Show down there, "Dammit Janet"

FACT only 3 to 5% of illegals work in the fields farming.

Why does this sound like the guy whose daughter adopts a stray cat, it has kittens, so he rounds all of them up and takes them 10 miles out of town, thinking they won't make it back to his house?

foo monkey: But we can't fly the cleared prisoners out of Gitmo.

False equivalence. Our imperialist wars for oil and our imperialist exploitation of coolie labor are completely unrelated to each other.

Kinda reminds me of this old joke:
A guy is sitting at home when he hears a knock at the door.  He opens the door and sees a snail on the porch.  He picks up the snail and throws it as far as he can.  A year later, there's another knock at the door.  He opens it and sees the same snail.  The snail says, "What was that all about?"

Mexican government will pay for returnees' from the Mexico City airport to their hometowns.

How many do you think will declare their hometown is in Oklahoma?

Is that the same Mexican Government that encourages their working poor to head north to the U.S.?

So I'm curious... if you're being deported, and you mess with the TSA agents, will they kick you off of your flight?

Well isn't that a classic. Mexican cities are complaining about being overwhelmed by all the unemployed Mexicans we deport.

Welcome to the club.

"Mexico's National Migration Institute said the flights will last six months." That' a long flight.

KimNorth: FACT only 3 to 5% of illegals work in the fields farming.

Pretty darn specific there, no? Plus the citation and all. Most of the legal residents in Arizona don't work at all. They just collect their government checks they "earned."

KimNorth: Would like to see her live near the border it's like the Rocky Horror Picture Show down there,

Funny, I don't remember it that way. But my parents think Arizona is crawling with illegals. I say, "Mom, 30% of Arizona's population are Hispanic US citizens.' She says, 'Yeah, Mexicans. I see them everywhere and they shouldn't be here."

Say hi to mom for me.

"ICE spokeswoman Nicole Navas said the flights will accommodate up to 136 men and women but no children."
"Special accommodations are being made for minors traveling alone, Mexico said."

LoosEEEY, you gots some 'splainin' to do!

"Under a two-month trial last year, more than 2,300 Mexicans returned on 18 flights."

Well now.  One percent of one percent.  Think maybe we can pick up the pace a bit, guys?

/ Flights?  Seriously?  Give them a choice between a hot overcrowded bus, and a cement canoe trip.
