A lot of Rube Goldberg's original drawings featured animals.  I never liked this because animals are too unpredictable.  There are already enough things that can go wrong with a Rube Goldberg machine.

Seriously, this is what passes for news now? A woman describes what's going on in a commercial while we watch said commercial?!?! Also, some of that stuff looked like CGI. I know OK Go! did some clever editing on their Rube Goldberg machine, but at least you could tell it was real.
