I've had Sprint since 2001. No complaints about service or prices, since the prices are much better than other major players and they don't cap your data. But their coverage (especially 4G) sucks donkey balls. When I go to visit my brother in SW VA I can't get any signal - 4G, 3G, 2G or 1G. I have to take my work phone, which uses AT&T. I'm in the DC area, so the 4G and coverage is fine here, but if I ever If I ever move to an area not near a major city I will have to switch to Verizon.

As someone whose Sprint SERO plan has thusfar ensured seven years of $35-a-month, unlimited data smartphone service, I'd just like to say that I do not care who owns the company so long as I continue to have $35-a-month, unlimited data smartphone service.

The unlimited data is pointless if you can't use it.  Here in the Detroit area, 3G service is so slow that it's just not worth using.  My co-workers on other carriers will pull out their phones and look something up, find what they were looking for and have their phone back in their pocket while I am still looking at a spinning screen.  I generally don't even get any use out of my data - woop de doo - unlimited use of crap.  Meanwhile, everyone else in the office except me and the one other guy on Sprint has been on 4G for ages, and we're still struggling trying to get a decent 3G signal - forget about 4G.

/I rue the day I signed up for Sprint 6 months ago.

Sprint is great where it works. Of course, who knows where that'll be.
