She'll have plenty of time to contemplate her actions enclosed in her cell.

Did anyone else go to a Catholic school when they were younger?  I only can recall one nun that was kind and should be the model for others to follow.  Maybe it was because she was younger than the others, or far prettier and wasn't there by default.  The others were ferocious, mean-spirited coontz that need to be gang rapped in the anus by hung black men.  One of the priests, also an asshole, stole money from the parish to get a hemorrhoid operation.

TFA: ...the enormous support that Sister Mary Anne received from friends, parishioners and her religious community, her proactive approach to her recovery and her involvement in meaningful ministry...

Looks like the churches she store from are being good Christians and supporting her recovery from addiction. So, what is the point of the jail time?

FTFA: Sister Mary Anne Rapp will spend the next 90 days in jail for stealing about $128,000 from St. Mark Church in Kendall and St. Mary in Holley.
Rapp is also sentenced to five years probation, 100 hours of community service and will have to pay back the full amount stolen from the churches.

Well, at least she wasn't diddling the altar boys.

Is this like group where we talk about our issues.  Did four years in a Catholic high school, have a lot of stories none worth telling.

How does a nun who has take a vow of poverty pay back money?

I went to a Catholic elementary school that had Franciscan nuns from Malta. These women were similar to the nuns you describe. Angry, bitter and mean. However, when I went to high school we IHM nuns, mostly from the Philadelphia area. They were all pretty normal people that chose the religious life. I also have 2 cousins that are IHM nuns and they are 2 of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

One thing I manged to do unintentionally was to get kicked out of the 5th grade because of my severe ADHD.  Let me guess, you were not the most popular person in your school.

Two Aunts of mine (actually my Dad's cousins) were IHM Nuns from Philadelphia. They taught in inner city schools. Had some of the funniest stories. My favorites were how to teach what a dangling participle was and using the word domineering in a sentence. (Hint: they were told by students it had to do with jewelry).

She doesn't look like the kind who would have any thing to do with boys.
